Jumbo
im really glad you got a new avatar. your last avatar was seriously terrifying looking. zorn posing as a psychotic egyptian pharoh was pretty unsettling lol. That wasn't Zorn. I have been told I look like him before. In Seattle I'm often still mistaken for him. My life coach took that picture when I was in a good mood, out on bail, and full of love for my fellow man--even those on the message board. You should try to be more sensitive. Brandon Lloyd Christmas
Not much. If I have to hear "but he's in a new system" one more time my head will explode. im trying to stay positive here damnit! i hate watching the guy play football, its truly painful. at least we'll have someone legit to clamour for once campbell starts doing his usual fail routine. remember shanny has no loyalty to campbell (thank god). there wont be any nonsense like there was with zorn. GibbsFactor
Not much. If I have to hear "but he's in a new system" one more time my head will explode. Shanahan has his own unique WCO. Jason has things to prove but he's in a new system.
Renegade7
We need at least 4 new starters on the o-line. How are going to do that with the thin list of FA if we use our first pick on a QB without trading down? JC may be staying here, but the oline is so decemated I don't see them taking it lightly this offseason like we did last year.
Skinswego
Does Bradford know how to line up under center, or is he going to have issues with the exchange? I hope they test the heck out of his shoulder and make him throw more than 15 throws in the workout to see how sore he gets
Hooper
Does anyone actually think that Campbell will be on board if the Skins draft a QB at #4? He will demand a trade and will not be on the same page as the organization. Remember last off-season, when the Skins flirted with Sanchez? So, this bit of news really proves nothing. The Skins aren't going to come out and say that they don't want a guy who will be an RFA and command a draft pick. Who would he demand a trade to? He'll be a stopgap wherever he goes. No one is going to consider him the longterm answer.

Newera
Everything is going to be done to the advantage of the Skins -- and that means tendering him. If a team is interested they will have to step up and give us a pick. If not, he stays. But he won't be coddled. He will be stop gap and the new guy will be the future. Jason's year to get the big contract was this year. Didn't happen. He's now insurance.
DMVSkins
I think Campbell will continue to improve next season to the tune of something like 21 TD 17 INT 66.9% passes completed 86.8 passer rating and the team will finish 7-9 or 8-8 depending on how well the defense is playing. Newera
Bradford lined up under center sometimes. I believe it's guys like Tebow and McCoy that don't much.
pastha40
This was the only logical move. Both tackle positions HAVE to be addressed before you put a rookie qb behind that line. My guess is Shanny will dangle the pick and see what he get can get for it. Draft two stud tackles with the proceeds, and perhaps a developmental qb in the later rounds. Aaron Rogers is the only first round qb that has panned out in recent memory. Better to solidfy the o line first then find a qb later.

OuterBanksTarHeel
Who would he demand a trade to? He'll be a stopgap wherever he goes. No one is going to consider him the longterm answer. He demanded a trade last year, if the Skins decided to draft Sanchez. Why wouldn't he rock the boat again, esp. when he's the best available FA QB? He considers himself a starter in this league. And, even though I'm not a fan of his, he is in fact the best FA QB, outside of Orton, who I'm guessing will return as Denver's starter. Finally, because he's an RFA, it doesn't make any sense to lessen his value on the market.

jds17
When has Campbell ever thrown a "hissy fit"? Seriously, he handles himself with integrity. Good point and he has had plenty of reason to thow more than a few "hissy fits".

Because if the Skins take a QB at #4 that, as of now, leaves only one early round pick for OL and if he starts at all next season with that sort of OL situation, Bradford will be running for his life or injured. That is one of the main concerns I have about him (besides his shoulder, the offensive system he played in and not having to read defenses). He very rarely saw much pressure and many times had all day to throw the ball. When he DID get serious pressure and got drilled he got hurt. Say what you want about Campbell, but the dude is tough as nails and can take hits many QBs wouldn't have gotten back up from.
rebornempowered
If Shanahan takes a QB at #4 in this draft (especially one that hasn't taken a snap under center for a really long time) my new favorite sport is hockey.

The Skins aren't going to come out and say that they don't want a guy who will be an RFA and command a draft pick. One million percent irrelevant, though...the Skins will already be trying to trade him no matter if he wants to be traded or not. If they get a good enough offer before the draft they'll go for it. The most Campbell can do is threaten to sit out the season unless he's either traded or made longterm starter, and I honestly don't see him doing that. He'll have more confidence in his talent and skills and play for another year and hope to test the FA waters on his own in 2011.
Skinswego
Bradford lined up under center sometimes. I believe it's guys like Tebow and McCoy that don't much. Sad part is I rather have Snead, Pike, or Canfield than Bradford, everything I have read has discussed him having to learn to drop back and read defenses, not be in shotgun and do it, and they question his injury bug. StillUnknown
Or think of JC as a stop gap to take all the hits while the Oline catches its barings. thats probably his best quality
