That's my favourite part of it all aswell. Kyle Shanahan being linked with being our offensive co-ordinator was a pleasant surprise but for Zimmer to be in there is another big bonus. My read on that was no doubt, in the next 72 hours, Shanahan is announced the coach. Id be willing to bet it happens tomorrow or even tonight depending on this Rooney rule issue. Gibbs was out of his league when he came back due to the time away from football and his assistants didn't make easy for him. Shanahan has been away for one year to recharge his batteries and pick the most qualified assistants that can make this team a winner. This is a great hire and lombardies will be coming to dc.
