Mr. Blitz
With the hiring of Bruce Allen... does that offcially eliminate Bill Cowher from the list? We have all heard he wouldn't work for Dan. However, would he work for Bruce Allen as many have pointed out that Bruce is a great "people" guy. It seems like all bets are on Gruden and Shanny but could Cowher still be the dark horse here. Personally I would rather have Cowher or Gruden. They bring that "Let's kick some A** attitude. Hail!!!!! Vinny is gone!!! Merry Christmas!!! :logo:
VaK9Trainer
How sweet would that be?? I'm with you though. I dont want Shanahan. Gruden or Cowher unless we go with someone like Grimm.
Mania
I would rather have a coach that specializes in the WCO so we can continue with our recent success instead of learning a completely knew system. Even if we are working with a different QB next year, the rest of the team seams to be on the same page at this point. Why change things. Now I do believe if Zorn were not here and Sherm Lewis was in his place we would still be doing well, so I don't believe Zorn has anything to do with the recent success, but more Lewis putting the players in the right places to showcase their talents, especially Davis and Thomas. Ax
Cowher was never a real candidate here. He'll either be in Dallas, or Carolina next season.

ST is my boy
Nah I dont think so. Its looking like Shannahan no question at this point. Sucks that Zorn has to hear these rumors while he still is coach. Pretty sure Danny is the only a-hole who does business that way.
SloppyOneXXVI
Cowher's mentor was Marty Shottenheimer. Do you think Marty has a bunch of good things to say about the Redskins organization? He won't come here when he'll get attractive offers from other teams.

Probos
Um,....hell no. :hysterical: Cowher's a Schottenheimer disciple. There's no way he's coming here -- thought this was old news.
Skins21!
If anyone thinks that our next coach will be anyone other than Mike Shanahan, then you are delusional. If you don't like it, I suggest you start crying now, sell your season tickets, and find another team. It is going to happen!!!
Jeff in D.C.
For the last time, Cowher isn't coming here, give it up. :sucks:
Oldskool
The Chin and Dannyboy would never work. Cowher will never be here.

braker
I would like Zorn to stay. If not my second choice would be Cowher. Some how I get the feeling I will not be able to have either one. No matter what Vinny is gone and that is a great thing! Merry Christmas everyone!!!
rk3025
Cowher will not come and Vinny may come back in a year like Danny dumped Marty Cowher's mentor was Marty Shottenheimer.
