The Diesel
I'm here to humbly and gratefully eat crow, too. Yesterday I posted that the Skins are about to make some huge mistakes again. This was all conceived under the illusion that Snyder was going to keep Cerrato. Well, obviously I was wrong about that and I couldn't be happier. It makes me laugh to see people expressing disappointment with the choice of new GM. It doesn't surprise me given the nature of Skins fans, but it's funny nevertheless. Someone brought up a good point in another thread - for years we've been begging for Cerrato to be fired and Snyder to bring on a real GM....ANY GM! So now that Snyder has done what everyone was begging him to do, of course ES posters are going to complain about the choice he made. LOLZ. I don't care who the GM is, as long as we now have one...a REAL one with a REAL track record. Good things to come folks. Good things.....

TheLongshot
It is early. The Redskins still have opportunities to make mistakes. We are going to have to see how everything else shakes out.

ArmchairRedskin
I kept telling people in game day chats that Vinny would be gone. Snyder absolutely had to make this move. He was losing the Redskins fanbase. Snyder is above all a guy who wants this team to succeed. He's got an interest its success as a fan and as a business owner. He needed to distance himself from the one factor most fans viewed as the reason for our failure. That factor was Vinny. I applaud Snyder for making the change. Hopefully more good changes are to come.

What the fans think shouldn't mean jack **** for what you do on the football field. You do what is best for the team, not what is best for the fans.
