Vicious
logic would tell me they'd want Campbell anyway, no coaching group would want to waste time on a Rookie QB. Danny boy cut Zorn's playcalling halfway into the second year.
Operations
Campbell is not suited to WCO at all. He's gone.
rd421
JC Stays 1st round OL maybe Okung? 2nd round Colt Mccoy?
mithong1
the greatest thing about this is that sherm lewis/zorn run the same exact offense that gruden does, so there will be no learning curve whatsoever.
asknoquarter
Gruden has said numerous times that he would take Tebow and start the spread offense in the NFL. I think Tebow could succeed in the right system, but I don't know if I want it to be my Redskins.
H4172tehR3d5k1n5
The game is too fast for JC, but there is nobody to replace him with. We are stuck with him until we can find a better option and if that is a rookie, it will still be at least 1 or 2 seasons before that rookie gets a shot at starting. Veretax
JC stays, at least through camp, but I wouldn't discount a trade for someone else who might be available, after the draft.
skinnyfan57
I am so excited. i just ruined a towel. Start a Gruden chant toward the booth on Monday Night. Get that dude in here and watch how fatass suddenly stops flopping around the field and missing games. Watch how Laron miraculously learns how to wrap. Brianbien83
Well, if it is true that Gruden is coming here, and it is true that Gruden wants Tebow, I would think that he could be had later in the second round. Wonder if a trade down in the first to grab another second round pick is the most prudent move. Trade down, pick up one of the tackle prospects not named Okung (he's really the only one worthy of a top 10 pick, and I think he'll be gone by the time the 'Skins pick in the first). Ingtar
But doesn't gruden have a contract with ESPN??? Can he break that I am sure he put a clause in there where he can. He is a pretty young guy and I am sure he wanted to have an out if he got to coach again.

I would bet if Gruden is hired Campbell will stay. Remember the Monday night game against the Eagles when he was gushing over JC. If he keeps Sherman Lewis as a consultant at least. I will be jumping for joy!!

cappun2007
He also says everyone is the best at what they do. He also is a huge Mike Vick fan. I have said that we should bring in Mike Vick to compete with Campbell and have Chase or Colt as the 3rd string. That would be the perfect scenario. Could also see some wildcat or hybrid offense including Vick and Campbell.
nittydachamp
Campbell is a good QB as long as he has time to throw. With that isn't it ironic, that Monday nite game is here, and gruden will be in town. The hire of Bruce Allen. Just seems strange.

Lewis as a consultant to ease a transition would make sense....Gruden would make sense bc the offense would not change so I am def liking this it fixes the failures while not abandoning the change to the WCO looks like they are finding a way to make a change while keeping continuity if that makes any sense at all
