After their drive looked like it might be stalling, Brees threw a 21 yard td on 3rd and 19. Amazing. Bush is having a great game. It looks like a lot of people (possibly myself included) were wrong about him being in a bit of a downturn. Darn. What is wrong with the Saints defense, they've been giving up way too much lately. Is the secondary still resting? The Falcons look like they're going to score here. Atlanta scored and now are tied with New Orleans 23-23. Buffalo is only winning over Kansas City by 3. I think New Orleans is missing both starting cbs, but still.... visionary Posted December 13, 2009 Share Posted December 13, 2009 The Saints just got a 38 yard fieldgoal to take a 26-23 lead after getting nothing on three or four plays in a row in the Atlanta redzone (including an odd grounding call after Brees threw it past the endzone). There's 4:36 left in the game. Atlanta just returned the ball to their 36 yardline on the kickoff return. And...Redman was intercepted at their 43 and the Saints have the ball in the Atlanta redzone.
