SS was released and Gano was signed just heard it on SportsCenter.

Yes.

His pedigree was second-to-none in college, and he has a great attitude.

No duis. No problems. A great kid.

And he comes through in the big games.

This is a huge upgrade.

Wa-hoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! I guess he just finished a season in the UFL.

Yes after kicking the game winning field goal in the champinship game as well as the league's first ever field goal (32 yards) and longest (53 yards)...

The rest of this season is his audition for next season.

Bravo McD5.

This is big TJ.

No more kickoffs to the 20 yard line, as people try to come up with bs excuses as to why we want to kickoff so short.

This kid was 5 for 7 from over 50 yards.

He made 3 fgs from over 60 yards in high school.

When we need a 55 yard fg.....and in clutch situations......when this kid trots out onto the field, both he, and the fans expect him to make it.

Leaps and bounds above where we were 24 hours ago.

This kid has an absolute cannon of a leg.

And he is extremely accurate.

And plays his best in big games, and clutch situations.

He must have impressed the hell out of them out there today, and so quickly.

Big day people.

at this point of the year, if we're cutting and signing kickers. We're already in trouble. So....good for Gano. I hope he's the guy for the next 10 years.

I wouldn't be shocked if he's not the guy for the next 10 months though. But, who knows? Lighting in a bottle....yadda yadda yadda.

This is significant though, and I hope it portends to a new philosophy at the park.

Suisham was like Portis. Novak too. They had experience, and although stale, might have been the safe, boring, predictable bs Vinny move.

Gano is more like a younger version of Rock, Ganther, or Betts. Not as proven, but the kid can play. And probably represents the more intelligent choice at this point.

I hope this shift pervades our entire organization.
