Brady Quinn

Mike and Mike were saying that Cleveland may be ready to trade him. Do you think he's ever going to be a good QB? Personally I still think he has a chance and should be starting in Cleveland. I'd think about giving up a 3 for him if they are interested in trading him because it's obvious Jason Campbell is not going to be here in 2010 and I don't think Colt Brennan is the future.

I still don't think our 2010 QB is on the roster. i'm starting to wish we had traded for Sanchez. Wouldn't have Orakpo but it's not like we use him right anyway. Sanchez is going to be a Pro Bowler very soon

If it's Campbell for Quinn straight up and we're positive Campbell can't pan out, why not try it?

However, if it's anything more, why trade for a guy that's looked more inept than Campbell? I'd rather have Campbell QB this team if the coaching staff thinks he even has a shred of hope of panning out.

STARTING TO WISH?

after i saw Orakpo in PASS COVERAGE getting beat for a TD i knew we have no clue top to bottom....his hand should be in the dirt and rushing the passer....EVERY PASSING DOWN

atleast sanchez would not be moved and expected to play RT

I think Quinn fell that far in the 1st round for a reason.

The Redskins need to be blown up.

Get an older Vet QB to be the starter, and draft a rookie like Dan LeFevour to watch for a season or two.

If its an uncapped year. Bye Bye Portis, Moss, Griffen, ARE, Betts, Thomas, Rabauch, etc.

When will anyone realize that there is not much wrong with Jason Campbell. Our offensive Line and Receivers are among the worst units in football....yet JC still puts up respectable numbers.

We have Stephon Heyer starting at Tackle....that is very sad. We only have three starting caliper Olineman on our whole team!

Our receivers are arguably even worst than the Offensive Line. They get zero separation and when they do, they usually cut their routs short of the first down marker.

Smartest post in awhile. Kudos!

it's obvious Jason Campbell is not going to be here in 2010

actually, I don't think that is obvious. If we have an uncapped year, Jason will be a restricted free agency and will more than likely stay here.

If (by slim chance) Vinny and Danny have learned anything about football....they will use our first three picks on Offensive Lineman (to protect our QB and allow us to run the football again) and will not spend the first round pick on another franchise QB who will be destined to weekly beat-downs playing behind one of the worst offensive lines in football!

and I don't think Colt Brennan is the future.

we can agree on that.

he wouldn't be a pro-bowler on our team. Especially since we probably would have traded away the first round pick to next years draft that we need to use to draft a RT

Isn't this exactly what we criticize Dan and Vinny the most about? Trading high mid picks for a quick one year fix that probably won't even fix anything. Worse, this guy isn't even a hasbeen. So far, he was a never was. If he were made available in the 2010 draft and people knew what they know about him today you think he'd be drafted in the third? I doubt he'd be drafted at all. Certainly, not before the 6th or 7th anyway.

Sanchez probably wouldn't be playing at all, lets be serious (and without a new coach, I highly doubt any rookie qb we drafted would be playing).

I also kinda doubt Quinn would do wonders for the Skins, it's not like our stellar O-line/coaching would give him a much better opportunity than he had with the Browns. But who knows, at this point, most anything seems better than what we have.

we don't have a third round pick anyway...we used it on Jarmon in the supplemental draft.

Well first he has literally noone to throw to in cleveland. Second....I will save judgement of the oline being horrible untill I actually see someone else play behind it. Samuels being out hurts...but so does jason campbell turning his back to the defense knowing he has no samuels to protect him....those are the kinds of things even rookies don't do.

We won't be able to trade Campbell in the off-season since he will be a UFA (unless there is no cap of course).

I don't see us making that deal mid-season.

Quinn is somewhat intriguing, but I don't see what bringing him mid-season does for anyone.

Yeah that Braylon Edwards guy he had to throw to looked really awful for the Jets last night.

I would bring Quinn in to compete with our drafted Qb for next season i like the idea.

so after trading what cleveland would probably demand (2nd round pick) and I'm assuming you would use our first round pick for the drafted QB you speak of.....

what would you do about the Oline????? 4th round pick for a guy who would be slightly better than Heyer in a couple years?

Free agency, and after the way Quinn is playing id be shocked if they would get a second for him when the season is over..
