SkinsFTW
chad henne and mark sanchez look like two very good young emerging QBs. we'd be much more competitive with either of these guys. We'd score 2x as many points on offense with Jake Plummer at QB, and he's been out of the league for several years.
bornzorn
Miami does not have the talent we have, but they have far superior coaching.you guys need to stop the dan/vinny bashing in regards to personnel...yes, they should have done better with the o-line, but the steelers won the superbowl with a mediocre o-line. if you want to criticize them for hiring zorn that's one thing, but this team has the personnel to be a playoff team :hysterical: I wonder who the shmuck was that invented the idea that somehow we had talented players on our roster. Besides Santana Moss, Chris Cooley, London Fletcher, and maybe Fat Albert when he decides to play, this team is a complete joke. Did you watch the game last night? Notice how both lines on each team worked their butts off, how each teams secondary swarmed to the ball. Those were two young, and very intense teams playing out there, with loads more talent then we can ever hope to have.
Timmy Smith
I know we're all mad but I'm not dissing our D yet. Our offense is atrocious, and has been since 1991, but the D still keeps points off the board. If we had a halfway decent offense we'd be solid. A Skinhead in Saints Land
They have something we don't. A front office that knows how to evaluate talent.
The Full Monty
I know we're all mad but I'm not dissing our D yet. Our offense is atrocious, and has been since 1991, but the D still keeps points off the board. If we had a halfway decent offense we'd be solid. Not quite. Our offense in the late 90s under Norv usually racked up yards and touchdowns and in 1999 our offense was second only to the Rams when we won the NFC East. Since then, yeah, it's been a death spiral. Only flashes have come, nothing consistent: The last half of Marty's 2001 season Brunell in early 2005 and CP in late 2005, TC at the end of 2007
SkinsFTW
i think sanchez induced more pass interference calls in one game than campbell has in his entire career. And in Sanchez FIRST start he tied Jason Campbell in games won by more than 1 score. Henne tied Campbell as well last week in his 2nd start. In comparison, Peyton Manning has won by multiple scores 19 times since JC first started a game in 2006. Kerry Collins did it 8 times last year. Can anyone find a guy who started 40+ games and only won by more than 1 score once? :rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao::rotflmao: It's only funny because I can't fathom how the HC, VP, Owner, somebody on the team, any****ingbody doesn't notice this. Even Rob Johnson did this 4 times in 29 career starts. IMO JC is Rob Johnson, except he's worse. Remember that guy? Flutie couldn't get a chance but everytime he came in he won or was very competitive and the whole team played different and then Johnson would lose, so the Bills released Flutie. That worked out well, didn't it? I wonder what Wade Phillips thinks about JC. He was the coach of that Bills team.
WarChief70
GO DOLPHINS!!! Same record as the Redskins but a far better, superior team from Owners(s) on down to waterboy. Redskins are just horrible. Not the worse (Thank God for Oakland) but just... bad. Real bad.
WarChief70
Why is there a thread during every Monday Night game wishing we were one of the other teams? Ummm... because the Redskins suck and we are envious of other franchises who actually are talented, youthful, energetic, exciting players. Every season it's another Dud.
