LD0506
Is it coaching? Is it play-calling? Or is everything to do with this offense so screwed up that there isn't one damn thing that stands a snowballs chance in hell?
Oldfan
Or Vinny Cerrato's inability to draft offensive linemen even when we have draft picks? Maybe. It's hard to know if there's fault on his part when he's drafting the BPA. How do we intelligently criticize him for selecting Orakpo over Oher, for example. But, there's no question about the Gibbs policy being faulty.
KDawg
Maybe. It's hard to know if there's fault on his part when he's drafting the BPA. I think Orakpo was the correct pick... if we were playing him in his natural position. I don't disagree with Gibbs policy on trading draft picks. That wasn't a very good strategy. However, I think Gibbs did so much for this team with his leadership abilities that he shouldn't be overly scrutinized over this. he brought us back to respectability. I also don't think Zorn should be completely raked over the coals here. He probably should be fired, but only because he's damaged goods to us at this point. Vinny and Dan deserve a good portion of the blame, and up until recently I defended most of their decisions.

No Excuses
Sadly, we paid the wrong corner the money Rogers should be getting. This DeAngelo Hall blunder will most likely end up costing this defense one of its best players.

This DeAngelo Hall blunder will most likely end up costing this defense one of its best players. Why would you want to "pay" Rogers...he is in no way a "gamebreaker"..."gamebreakers" make plays that win games for us...for a corner back, that might mean actually catching a gift wrapped pick 6 ONCE in your career!!! If i were to blow this team up...Rogers would be first on the list...yeah he can cover...but you HAVE to be able to pick off a pass at least once in your life! KDawg
FunBunch kind of hit it on the head... I don't agree with Rogers being one of the first ones gone, but we paid D. Hall to create turnovers. He has three picks in five games. He's doing what we brought him in to do. No one ever said he was a great cover corner or a great tackler. He's here to give the offense opportunities and he's doing just that. if Rogers could catch, we wouldn't have needed D. Hall.
veteranskinsfan
Vinny will release both players from Auburn in the offseason-JC and Carlos. Then he will come out in the press and tell the fans that he has made a promise to Danny that he will no longer recruit future players from Auburn for the rest of his adult life so that he can retain his title of General Manager for the Washington Redskins. tone_dubbz
Carlos isn't trying to play here anymore, and I don't blame him. This franchise is a complete joke. Who in their right mind would want to play here, unless of course you're trying to get a 100 million dollar contract. If you content with losing and working for an incompetent front office, then this is the place to be.
Hail_Skinz
Carlos Rogers needs to shut the *bleep* up and learn how to catch a fricken' pass that lands right in his hands!!!! I agree with you...but do you disagree with anything that he has said? This is ALL Dan Snyder's fault. He is a JOKE and so is Vinny Cerrato. kramdizzle
CR doesnt care. If he stays here he'll get a good contract, if he gets cut he'll get a good contract with someone else, maybe a winning team. Good move by him
bikie
if los stays healthy, he won't be lacking for employers after this season... he'd be a good fit for green bay with their style of coverage and aging CB's...
