bubba9497
http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=4553441 Click link for entire article The Dallas Cowboys are a mess They have zero offensive identity. Their play in Kansas City was incredibly sloppy, and they played with no sense of pride. They blew scoring opportunities. Dallas was self-destructive all afternoon and took far too many penalties. Remember, this was against a Chiefs team that was 2-27 in its previous 29 games. This just in: OT Flozell Adams moved before the snap once again. The Cowboys did put a ton of hits on QB Matt Cassel, albeit against a terrible offensive line. The Cowboys are a subpar football team in just about every regard. VABeachRealtor
They're 3-2, going into a much needed bye week to heal up. I can think of a couple teams who would love to be in our situation.
Ken
Not to mention the 5-0 Giants needed a last second field goal to be this "subpar" football team and the 5-0 Broncos held us off from tying them at the 1... Just a terrible squad. Disregard that this "subpar" football team has the number one offense in the NFL.
ArmchairRedskin
Ken, people actually watch the games. The Cowboys have looked sloppy as a team. You can hang your hat on whatever stat or byline you want to, but the truth is out on the field. It's not all that great.

I hope they can build n something after the bye week however, its not pretty ball or even good abll at this point.

bubba9497
Ken you mean the game the clutch Tony Romo sits to pee threw a pick six, and another the refs blew dead?,.... and Mr Clutch had a whopping 127 yards passing? a game no where near as close as the score suggests, where Eli torched your defense for 330 yards? spin spin spin away

Yeah, Romo sits to pee was garbage in the game clearly, but they also ran the ball down the Giants throat that game. They got outgained by like 50 yards for the game. Yesterday, Dallas outgained KC by 200, but the game was still as close as the score indicated. I will agree with the person above that the Giants would probably pound the Cowboys if they played again now.

Or wait, are we only talking about the stats that favor your point of view? If Dallas would of stuck with the running game more, it's very reasonable to believe that they end up winning that game. And wasnt as close as the score said? :hysterical: The Giants had to put together a last minute drive to come from behind to win the game. And props to them, they deserved to win it. Disregard that this "subpar" football team has the number one offense in the NFL. They LOST both games. It doesn't matter if it was a last second field goal. It's a SIXTY MINUTE game. Not 59:55. And they held the Cowboys off from tying because Dallas wasn't good enough to FINISH. If making excuses for your team makes you feel better about yourself, go right ahead. Come December, it'll be the same ole, same ole.

Ken
I honestly think if you guys played the Giants again you would get crushed. The Giants seem to be clicking on all cylinders right now and look like they are in mid season form. I honestly don't. For whatever reason, this Cowboys team seems to play to the level of the competition. The Giants have been playing good football since week 1. Nothing has changed in that regard. We did rush for over 200 against the #1 defense in the league and one of the most talented front 7s in the league... :saber:
