haithman
You can have your Brady/Brees etc. There is no one I would rather have on my team than this genius.

Paulie Walnuts
I have to agree, there are certain players, Peyton being one of them, that you just marvel at. Peyton, Montana, Walter Payton, Farve, Rice. Guys you just can't root against, you just appreciate what they can do, and know that when you're watching them, you're watching greatness
haithman
The guy is just a winner. When he threw that pick earlier in the game he was smiling as he came off. I knew in his head he was thinking 1) No way Im going to let that be the difference and 2) Im gonna make these sum-****es pay. Pure genius

lucky*13
it's nice to see a qb get rid of the ball on time,he would make any team in this league instant playoff contenders. He is a qb that makes everyone around him better, why can't the redskins have a peyton manning... stickyshooZ
If Manning had Brady's defense (the Championship ones), he'd probably have more rings.

Enter Apotheosis
Good luck with Peyton in the playoffs. I'll stick with Big Ben in crunch time Big Ben is a great QB... but if Peyton had the Steelers defense backing him up he'd have at least 5 rings by now. da#1skinsfan
he is absolutely amazing. the way he reads a defense and picks them apart perfectly. the timing he has with his receivers (Collinsworth's comment about "when you see dallas clarks' head turn the ball is already there, its too late" was great). the way he commands his offense and leads his team with an unmatched confidence and calmness...he is just sick. amazing. Big Blue Joe
Good luck with Peyton in the playoffs. I'll stick with Big Ben in crunch time Yup. That 23.7 QBR in his first Superbowl was really clutch.Big Ben is a great QB... but if Peyton had the Steelers defense backing him up he'd have at least 5 rings by now. The Colts have had a top 10 defense the last two years and look like they are well on their way to making it a third consecutive year. And Peyton has yet to win a playoff game over that span. I was thinking the same thing when he threw his last TD Pass. He ran a play fake, set...AND FIRED to Collie. Never thought about it, never hesitated and he hasn't worked with Collie very much until the last couple of weeks. Damn I'd love to have a QB that actually knows where he's going with ball. Hiro
The Colts have had a top 10 defense the last two years and look like they are well on their way to making it a third consecutive year. And Peyton has yet to win a playoff game over that span. When defending the passing game, the Colts defense has been really solid. But up until this point in the season, their run defense has been total crap, which has allowed teams to run all day and keep the ball out of Peyton's hands, which has allowed the only team the Colts have played against in the playoffs the past couple of years (the Chargers) to dominate the time of posession. Plus, it hasn't helped that up until this season, the Colts offensive line has been extremely suspect. Notice that the season the Colts line has become solid again, Peyton has again looked otherwordly. He's the best QB in the league, bar none. VABeachRealtor
For my money, John Elway is the greatest QB of all time. Manning, however, is closing the gap.

darklight1216
Yup. That 23.7 QBR in his first Superbowl was really clutch. To be fair, Manning had 3 tds and seven interceptions in the postseason when he won the Super Bowl. The Colts have had a top 10 defense the last two years and look like they are well on their way to making it a third consecutive year. And Peyton has yet to win a playoff game over that span. Last year, the Colts were eleventh in total defense. Marino, Manning, Elway, Romo sits to pee etc...You'll never get a consensus when you discuss greatest ever. But really, you couldn't go wrong with any of them. You can certainly go wrong with Tony Romo sits to pee. He's not even the greatest in his time, much less all time. No one likes Johnny U?
