flexxskins
I'm just curious to know peoples thoughts as to whether or not they believe that Jim Zorn has already out stayed his welcome in Washington.
ttr77
Losing to 2 previous winless teams...and beating 2 others by less that one score.
SirClintonPortis
If he gets mauled by Philly, I would say that it is pretty much over...or at least he will be relieved of his playcalling duties.
Larry Brown #43
I believe the decision to let him go has already been made...it's just a question of when the trigger will be pulled. And I also believe that firing him will have the same effect as rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Goaldeje
Tough to say. I think Danny WANTS to wait until the bye, but after today, he may not be able to. If we lose against the Chefs next week, I think Zorn may be gone. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me a bit to see him fired tomorrow.

Mooka
Lose to KC, it's over. This.Lose to the 0-5 Chiefs at home and you're done. Blache will finish the season and depending on how well he does, we'll see what happens next year.
section 130
What's it going to take? The bye week to get here. The decision has already been made imo.
RedlightG20
I think it's already a done deal. Amidst all the speculation, no one has come out and said "Zorn is our guy, he's not going anywhere". Snyder is already making moves.
Ray Brown
Snyder has pretty much already decided he's gone. All the cards are in place, I just dont see the point of firing him midseason, nothing will change.
terpskins10
Lose to KC, it's over. This. Six winless teams and we only pull out two wins (I know NY doesn't really count) and barely do so? Sorry, Jim. It's just not happening. Although I'm still against firing coaches midseason because it just causes chaos and usually doesn't do anything to fix things. Mostly just gives up on the year (before anyone says anything, I know the year is already shot, but I'm going in principle that you don't give up until you're mathematically eliminated). sfwinter
what other coach in their right mind would take this job? There is not enough money in the world to bring in a Shanahan, Dungy or Cowher. Remember, Zorn was the only coach who would take the job last year
Hunter_R
I assume you mean in the immediate future, as I think he's a dead-man walking. Straight losses until the bye, maybe.
Soup
Come on guys, its already over. Zorn is lucky the bye week isn't for a couple of weeks
bricucci
Lets see how well this inept team plays for someone else. Lombardi couldn't guide this team anywhere. This franchise is doomed until we have a new owner. That may be 40+ years.
Louskins9193
Zorn should've never been hired in the first place, he is in way over his head and when you have Cerrato as your GM its bound to fail look at the cards hes been dealt. Zorn is a QB coach at best and should've stayed there I feel bad for the guy he will be Snyders new scapegoat.
88Comrade2000
Jim Zorn already has lost his job. He will either be gone at the bye or once the season ends.

But Snyder does want to wait until the bye imo. Our ****ty team might be forcing his hand to pull the trigger before that.
Gibbs Hog Heaven
The bye-week report from the "extra set of eyes" to the owner. Hail.

And I also believe that firing him will have the same effect as rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I agree that the decision has already been made, and your humorous comment is dead on. Firing Zorn will accomplish nothing. If the skins had a future candidate on the coaching staff I would agree with the firing, but since we don't, it doesn't make sense. What I would like to see is Vinny get fired and the search for a GM begin before the season ends.
REDSKYNYRD
Snyder needs to start with Cerrato then Zorn, Campbell, Blanche.....but I think Snyder will let Zorn finish the season (around or below .500).

Blache will finish the season and depending on how well he does, we'll see what happens next year. We'll see what happens? No, if we finish the season with an interim coach; that coach will be back in 2010. If it's Blache or Sherman Lewis; Dan may interview them to meet the Rooney Rule but they won't be hired permanently.
NoCalMike
There are rumors that Zorn is already a fired coach, it is just that Snyder doesn't wanna make the move until someone else is locked up.
