Snagletooth
When Orakpo is up, at the line, over the TE, in an under/over set, he is essentially in press coverage. He engages the TE looking for run, then plays chase when the TE releases. If its pass and the TE stays into block, often, he just effectively takes himself out of the play because he has responsibility if the TE does release. Why not just attack? The run and the pass. At least force them to keep the TE in for protection. Is their anyone who still supports Blache on this? Most didn't in the first place. I know there is alot to complain about, but really, I don't expect anything out of the offense. The, defense, on the other hand might be able to approach some of our expectations if the "Maverick" would play aggressively.
Hunter_R
Are you not used to having smoke blown up your ass by the personel of the Skins? Don't believe a damn thing they say behind the mike. Yes, I'm mostly commenting on the "maverick" thing. So, who did the presser in his place?
NewCliche21
Orakpo is the only bright spot on our team. Put him at DE like EVERYONE not named "Blache" says, and we're set. Four-point stance = sack.

BoBoCTiberius
I can understand wanting to make him into an All-Pro linebacker. He's an incredibly gifted athlete, and an all-star LB can do a lot more for a defense then an all-star DE. But, to deny that this guy was made to rush the passer from the edge is to deny a fact. I want to see him at defensive end so badly.
iMeast
Put his hand in the dirt and bring Marcus Washington back. Last I checked he wasn't even playing in the UFL. HTTR
DMVSkins
D Hall is a bright spot did he not have a INT and take it to the 1 yard line yeah he didn't stop Jake to get the ball back in the 4th but honestly do you think the offense would have scored anway they have 4 tries to put the game away and didn't. WARLORD1863
Orakpo is a beast, but the team refuses to play him where he's most effective. The guy doesn't belong in coverage, he belongs in the QB's face. Gross misuse of talent.
CRobi21
He needs to be in his 4-point ALL DAY... Notice how he only makes plays when he's at DE..
RySkins
Blache is an idiot too! Even blowhard Brian Billick pretty much said that Orakpo is playing the wrong spot.
bikie
from the angle they showed on TV, it wasn't even a matter of orakpo not understanding his position, he looked HORRIBLE trying to stay with the TE, just not athletic enough for that type of assignment... I say give him some time to bulk up and use him on passing downs with his hand in the dirt... I don't believe he'll ever be a backer in this league... Timmy Smith
Orakpo will be a tremendous hybrid DE/LB but it will take time - we're asking a lot of him right now. Since we're nowhere close to being a playoff contender, let's just let him learn by letting him play.

Hall seems to be hit and miss. He'll make some awesome plays, but then he'll make some really boneheaded plays. I have mixed feelings about him, but that last play against Delhomme really didn't make him too many fans.

ALLWORLD
Orakpo at linebacker is just another sign of the ineptness of this franchise. what sucks is Zorn may get fired but Blache is still going to be around, as does the lunacy of the coverage schemes, lame blitz schemes and of course, utilizing our talent (Orakpo). I wonder if Zorn can even trump Blache and tell him to cut it out.
Warhead36
He got sacks(or at least half a sack/pressures)on a couple other 3rd downs. Start him at DE already. I'd take Orakpo at DE + whoever at LB over Daniels/Orakpo combo.
JoeSkins
Orakpo will be a tremendous hybrid DE/LB but it will take time - we're asking a lot of him right now. The NFL is a league of specialists, not hybrids, for a reason. There aren't even that many guys who do both kick and punt returns, let alone play to positions that are even more dissimilar such as DE and LB.
