TheDiplomat
A) No, this isn't a sarcastic thread at all. Our D, albeit frustrating at times, always comes to play. Thanks to our D, our Offense had to go a total of about 15 yards to score both TD's. 15 YARDS! Without our D the score would have been 20-3. Zorn is a horrible play-caller. HORRIBLE. This isn't on Campbell at all. When you run a stretch play at the goaline, you're an idiot. It takes WAAAAY too long for that play to develop. When you call only one shot downfield the whole game (Thomas), you're an idiot. When you're ultimately in charge of the O's production and you average 12 pts a game vs. some of the worst teams in the league, you're an idiot. In conclusion, thank you D. JZ you're an idiot. buttmud
Couldnt agree more. Offense is offensive.
Santana_89
It would have been uglier without the 2 turnovers, and that's for damn sure. I hate how year in and year out you guys have to do your jobs as well as try to help out the offense. Andre Carter had 2.5 sacks today Orakpo had a sack Landry had some solid tackles today Haynesworth did his job D Hall has yet another pick in as many games I hope Fletcher,Mc Intosh and Doughty are alright as well as Daniels and Griffin. MumboSauce
Agreed the Defense played well enough that an average offense would win. But we have what we have. They created short fields and easy scores, can't ask for much more.
StillUnknown
i would love to see this defense in the hands of a different coordinator one that was at least competent enough to play Orakpo on the line he was completely lost in coverage today. thats on the coordinator for putting him a position to fail
DMVSkins
We need the offense to match the defensive intensity I dont see it happening this season but here's to wishfull thinking
Yeen80
I thought the defense was phenominal. They were just on the field too long towards the end end of the game because our offense is terrible. Zorn is the only guy you blame for the offense

Glad to see that there are others who feel like i do.... Watching this offense is like listening to a broken record, no matter how many extra sets of eyes are watching! They are wasting the efforts of what could be a GREAT....thats right....a GREAT defense Offense can't sustain long drives at ANY time throughout ANY game! From Campbell, to 4/5ths of the o-line, to all pass catchers not named Moss or Cooley, to Sellers, to Portis, and the HORRIBLE playcalling, this has to be the WORST collective offensive output ever seen on a Redskins team! SkinsFTW
Yep, our offense by itself continues to average under 10 points a game. Yippee. Lets replace the DC.

flexxskins
I actually feel sorry that our defense has to be associated at all with our offense.
CRobi21
Your giving them too much credit, imo. We're winning 17-2 in the 3rd quarter, and we lost 20-17. Yes, a score from our offense could have ended the game. They got us our 2 TDs for sure, but really let up after that
str8jacket
They do a good job and more than enough to win in every game so far. Especially given they spend the whole game on the field.
Rdskn4Lyf21
Our D is giving up 16.4 ppg. We'd be 5-0 with an average offense.....
authentic
No matter what D. Hall, A. Carter, & J. Gray says, it has got to be frutrating as heck playing behind a terrible offense like this. The Defense did all they could to put the offense in the right position to win and the O still stinks up the joint. I really feel bad for them. Papabear
Ummm ok? Thanks D and thanks Campbell and thanks rest of the Redskins team for making a **** load of money and not doing SHAT. Let me go total up all the money I spent in the past 10 years on Skins merchandise and see who comes out the idiot. Unfortunately, me. Thanks Skins! FanSinceWomb
This season I'd peg the D as the worse unit; they seemed to have turned the corner last week though and looked stout today. Giants loss: all on the D Rams win: a push, both units played OK. O didn't score; D allowed 100 plus rush yards. Lions: ALL on the D, the lack of rush game didn't help. Bucs win: O was ugly, D played stout though still didn't do enough to fluster the first time starter Today: O was putrid, no rush game. Advance NFL Stats, featured on the NYTimes had our O, with an average D, ranked at 17 and our D, if it had an average O, at 24. Why? Few sacks, few ints, decent amount of penalties.
