THUNDERDOME
http://www.washingtontimes.com/weblogs/redskins/ Griffin might not play By David Elfin on Oct. 9, 2009 Redskins 360 Cornelius Griffin is questionable with the left elbow he injured against Tampa Bay. Fellow defensive tackle Anthony Montgomery (knee) will miss a fifth straight game. Offensive tackle Chris Samuels will start despite being limited in practice this week with knee and shin ailments. Kedric Golston will start if Griffin can't play. "It's hurting me," said Griffin, who missed at least one game in four of his previous five seasons with the Redskins. "It's going to be a game-time decision. I'll do my best to go out and help the team, but at the same time I don't want to hurt us." Linebacker Rocky McIntosh missed practice to attend a funeral. -- David Elfin
@DCGoldPants
Depth Depth Depth........ If Haynesworth is sucking wind by 8 min left in the 1st. Then maybe we should consider Daniels in the middle, and Orakpo on the edge.
TheDoyler23
Wynn or Daniels can move inside for a few snaps to keep a rotation going. It would be nice to have Monty healthy sometime this season.
kmast000
 Not Kedric Golston!!!! He should not even be on the 53 man roster.
skinnyfan57
Not a shocker.....Griff has been hurt for years......Montgomery is non existent.....our coach is getting fired........our owner is horrible......our pets heads are falling off..... TheLongshot
I expect Wynn to be active this week. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Daniels play a lot of DT this weekend.
Capt'n Obvious
I expect Wynn to be active this week. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Daniels play a lot of DT this weekend. Agreed. I also expect Wynn to come off the inactive list this week. Hopefully Griff can play this week, but if we can't I think we have the depth on the line to move some people inside to DT. :logo:

Maximus71
I have a bad feeling we are going to give up 200 yards of rushing to the ***** cats

Hail Gibbs
I hope this mean Daniels plays more at DT and Jarmon gets more snaps. Jarmon looked really good last week. He was really getting after it when he was in there. Even though several times Jarmon was lined up at DT and had an impact I think it would be better to put Daniels there b/c his lack of mobility could be a big problem versus the Panthers rushing attack. Then maybe we should consider Daniels in the middle, and Orakpo on the edge. From my angle on the field last Sunday, I could see they lined up Haynesworth as end for at least a couple of plays. I couldn't tell who was on the inside though.
Mark The Homer
Very nice OP, but you forgot to put the source in the title. Thanks
theboomking
This should reinforce that we still need more DT's. Cornelius is aging, and Montgomery looks like he may never suit up for us again. I actually think Golston is pretty decent, but we obviously need more than Golston and Haynesworth.
BoRnAndRaiSedSkinsFan
Probably should have kept Dixon on the team.....Damn the Eagles for signing him!
tex
......our pets heads are falling off..... my doggies think the skins need to clean house so their big doggy heads are not falling off which is a good thing since they love chow and without their heads they would really miss out when it's time to get down. by the way my doggies are never wrong and they are thinking that heads are gonna roll. they are also wondering whats going to happen to CP when big mike rolls into town. Aireskoi
I really hope Montgomery makes it back this year, and soon. I don't think the runs up the middle are there as much if he's in the rotation. I was looking forward to seeing Anthony come in and push Albert into Andre's end spot in situations to shut down the run heavy teams, like Carolina. bikie
not a good team to be thin at DT for... I say stack the box and take our chances with delhomme...
Aireskoi
Montgomery looks like he may never suit up for us again. Where does that come from?
RandyHolt
hopefully we can get Wynn AND Daniels on the field at the same time. Why did we keep Wynn again? Its a damn shame Daniels is proving to be our 4th best DE.

Then maybe we should consider Daniels in the middle, and Orakpo on the edge. Our depth at DT isn't that bad.Haynesworth, Griffin, Golston, Montgomery, with Daniels and Alexander as swing guys. It just so happens that Montgomery has some knee problem and Griffin's elbow is now hurt.
Hooper
Samuels is the biggest concern. Five weeks in and it ain't looking good for him. Who is our backup LT?
