If I'm completely sober, odds are good I'll find most drunk people really annoying.

If I'm drunk, odds are good I won't care about how other drunk people are acting. Unless they're already annoying people in the first place, with or without alcohol.

It's really that simple.

Don't have to be drunk...can't stand hearing tham talk...and my daughter is now talking the same way...OMG this and OMG that. Every sentence ends sounding like a question. Oh, not to mention using the word "like" between every other word. They talk as bad as I write. ;)

First things first....being around drunk girls that age are bad for for most guys my age...so I stay away from that. But yes...I remember when I was 17 or 18...they are super annoying. Hell...they don't have to be that age to be annoying, I know a lot of 25 to 30 year old women who are pains in the ass when they are drunk.

I've got news for you. It doesn't get much better when they get older either. :(

A while back I was at one of the local hot spots with a friend when I noticed a very attractive woman sitting alone at the bar. She was in her mid 40's, well dressed and had the look of a sharp professional woman.

Now I'm often very shy but I told myself WTF and when a seat opened up next to her, I planted my but in it and struck up a conversation. We hit it off and she seemed very cool. Turns out she works for Grand Am putting together special events for the big wigs and teams. I'm thinking that this could be cool. A smart, good looking woman, close to my age, single (divorced) who also works at a cool job that might lead to parties with race teams and vip access to races. Jackpot!

Well, here's where it goes south and gets funny. I was working just down the street at the time and had been to a little cafe that had just opened a few doors down for lunch one day and noticed they had a great selection of good tequila. :D I suggested we go there thinking it would be a little more quiet and I love good tequila which the bar we were in did not have. Off we went.

By this time, my friend who had ridden to the bar with me decided to tag along (I couldn't say much - I was his ride). Well anyway, we get to the other place, order shots and beers and I'm busy chatting things up with this woman when my friend pipes up "Hey Mike... Notice anything funny?" I look around and notice that there aren't many women and the few that are there are all together. In fact all of the men seemed to be hanging out with other men... It's a freekin' gay bar. :hysterical:

Well, anyway (trying to shorten the story up)... we rolled with it. My friend while blessed with the gift of gab isn't the best looking dude so he didn't get bothered. Other than one dude who came up on the other side of the woman I was with and gave me an uncomfortable stare, I wasn't bothered and the chick is starting to kiss on me a little. So what the hell... we ordered another shot and beer. :D

That's when things started going south. I forget that I have I very high tolerance sometimes. And while I barely had a buzz, She was starting to get loopy. Next thing I know she's having a good old time whooping loudly in my ear and generally turning from this sharp, attractive, professional woman that had attracted me, into an annoying drunk. I quickly went from wanting to take her home to just wanting to get away.

We ended back at the first bar where now her son (who is older than the OP :silly: ) is hanging out and she introduces me. In that moment, the look the kid gave me told me that this wasn't the first time she had gone to a bar, gotten drunk and picked up a guy. He clearly wasn't happy. That was the point that I made my excuses, told her I had to give my friend a ride home, and beat feet out of there. Any interest I had of hooking up in the beginning was LONG gone.

Anyway, that's my story. I had a blast that night. It was an adventure. But in the end she turned into an annoying drunk and at my age, I have no desire for that kind of relationship.

All depends on if you are drinking and partying with them. Personally I find the sober holier-than-thou bama at the party/club to be the most annoying. Always there to kill your buzz because he's just too cool to party... when we all know it's usually just a wuss that is scared of what he'll say or do if he drinks.

No they aren't.

They are far worse. 18 and over clubs are the scene of constant fights because 18 year old guys have to prove they are tough at all times. There is a reason many clubs have higher required ages for men then they do women.

That is true and someone in their late 40's was telling me nightclubs today suck because all they do is try to start fights.

But fights still aren't as annoying as

"heeeeyyyyy, hey look, im really really drunk, so im gonna just stand here...here, ok, hahah, this is my friend, shes not as drunk as me, cause im really drunk"
