Fear Our D!
"There's a lot of hard work and effort and a lot of people beating you down," Romo sits to pee said Thursday, surrounded by cameras and recorders at his locker. TheGoodBits
Tony Romo sits to pee= the next Vince Young. Psychological meltdown waiting to happen. He got so used to the media telling him he was a star, he won't be able to handle it when his horrible play this year is scrutinized to no end and the people on ESPN begin to question whether they jumped the gun when the proclaimed him a superstar before he ever did anything. I think it's just that QB'ing has suddenly become more difficult for him. After all, TO makes burning a defense much easier with the obligatory double coverage he drew, which resulted in freeing up Jason Witten and Co. Impressive. So I guess he received no scrutiny after his two playoff losses, eh? Gotcha!
tr1
I used to think he was another Danny White. Looks like he couldn't really hold White's jock. What a head case.

Gotcha! After wading knee-deep through your sarcasm, I discovered that you are missing a very key distinction. He was scrutinized after his embarrassing playoff losses, yes. But then the media was still on his jock. It was, "Wow, the great Tony Romo sits to pee choked in the clutch, what a shocker!" Once everyone catches onto the fact that he's a very average QB, they will be saying, "Hey Romo sits to pee blows another game in December, but we're not surprised because now we realize he's not that good." No Excuses
The Terrell Owens effect. People can hate on the dudes attitude all they want, but he is one of, if not the greatest receiver of this generation. He's always made his QB's look heck of a lot better than they really are. sideshow24
He is headed for a meltdown for sure. Anyone else notice Romo sits to pee's key defense mechanism? He never says "I" or "me" when referring to himself sucking or criticism of him. He deflects it onto a mysterious "you". "There's a lot of hard work and effort and a lot of people beating you down," Romo sits to pee said Thursday, surrounded by cameras and recorders at his locker. "You have to have a stronger belief in yourself than the disbelief of others." The collapse is coming, and it's gonna make the collapse in the shower (yeah, sure it was his ribs:rolleyes:) seem like a drop in the bucket.
