Chachie
I'll take another RB. We certainly don't have anything promising in betts anymore. The article said Sherman Smith was his RB coach in Tennessee so he must like something about Henry.
Nash614
My first thought was "Eddie George?" Wouldn't surprise me if Snyder pulled a move like that... But on a serious note, I just want the running game to get goin'. Either Portis is nearing the end of his career (at least in DC) or he's too injured to really make a difference. KDawg
Portis looked great last Sunday. Portis' issue is moreso the OL than it is himself. If the OL isn't fixed soon, though, having CP is essentially useless. The guy gets the most mileage he can with a poor run blocking line thus far. Although, that can turn around. They made strides on Sunday. (in the second half, anyways )
Skins-Canes-Mounties
Mason hasn't exactly blown us away in his limited carries this year. Alridge can't suit up. You know there is a weakness if Rock is getting PT late in games in the red zone (and I'm glad he got the TD but that's not our ideal RB3). I like it. We should always be looking to improve, and nobody on this team has earned anything.
BALLz
I like it. We should always be looking to improve, and nobody on this team has earned anything. Agreed. Henry wouldn't be "another" RB. He'd be replacing someone. My guess would be Alridge. However, I believe Alridge has more upside than Mason.
Grimm
Seems like a good move, Aldridge and Mason have shown nothing so far.

SolidSnake84
Maybe he is someone who will split carries and/or share the load with Portis...I think Zorn and the FO are finally starting to get concerned about Clinton with his nagging injuries and all.... Skinsrdatruth
I actually remember seein this dude carry a few times in a titans game and thought to myself, he would look good in a skins uniform... let's see what happens

TheLongshot
There isn't anything wrong with taking a look at a talented individual who was released from his team last week. Now, whether he's worth signing is another thing. He's a guy who was probably drafted way too high based on his combine numbers and he got himself in trouble last year and got suspended. He hasn't proven a damn thing in the NFL. That being said, with his size and speed, you have to at least look at him. We aren't so set at RB that we can't use a guy like that. jarresc
Someone will be packaged up in a trade for some O-Line help I bet. That O-line is a serious weak point. We need youth and depth there. We could easily trade Betts, Henry, Mason, or Rock. Vinny is up to something!

We could easily trade Betts, Henry, Mason, or Rock. Vinny is up to something! Our O-Line is decent. Take a look at how the Packer's O-line got mauled by the Vikings! And, despite that take a look at what Aaron Rodgers did! That is the difference between a future star, and a future backup. I am not saying we can't upgrade ... we should, and should have this past offseason. But, the blame lies on the playmakers. They are not earning their paychecks. Portis is hurt, and doesn't have the speed or the power to muscle thru to make some big runs. Our passing game is pathetic. And, that is a liability in the sense it doesn't help us set up our run game.
BALLz
Zorn just said they're not signing Henry. They just bring people in all they time for workouts so that if someone does go down, they'll already have a feel for who they want to sign. What I see is a team with the same record as us, a QB who has to throw because they can't run the ball and they can't seem to stop teams either. Without Rodgers, they'd be fighting with Detroit for the basement and may continue in that direction if their OL doesn't get healthy.
thewagen
Seems like a good move, Aldridge and Mason have shown nothing so far. You kidding, right? Alridge has not even been active yet I think, so he has been given zero carries. And I think Mason is averaging ~ 6 yards per carry (?) on the paltry few he has been given. My guess is that Henry is a Betts replacement??? And they may be lining up avaialble need players if Portis' ankles get worse and Betts continues to slide in his role/contributions.
