Burgold
When Campbell took that knee I felt pretty good. I wasn't screaming my head off or high fiving everyone in sight, but I felt happy. It felt like a win. I was even a little bit pumped. This was a very different feeling than the one generated by the win over the Rams. In that one, I felt discouraged... even disgusted. So, the question is why? Did I recalibrate my expectations after the Rams and Lions games? Did I now believe we were a bottom tier team and any win was a cause for celebration, because frankly we are on the level of the Rams, Lions, and Bucs. Is it that it was a come-back? We outplayed the Rams from start to finish, but our defense was a sieve everywhere but the scoreboard and our O was impotent when it came to scoring. We owned the Rams from the 20 to the 20, but were allergic to the end zone. Contrast that with the Bucs game where we were trounced in the first half, somehow got our act together and pulled off a win? Am I happier because we actually played worse (offensively, though much better defensively) against the Bucs? Or are you unlike me and the win against the Bucs did not create a winning feeling. The Redskins win left you emotionally neutral or down.
Burgold
For me, it was mainly a recalibration, I think. I have placed the Redskins in the bottom five. They need to prove themselves from here on out. The win against the Bucs might have nudged them a little, but not much.
Monkfan63
My expectations for what this team could do this season came from the first 3 games of the season. So the win yesterday didn't change my opinion of how bad this team is. In fact, it just confirmed it.
ALLWORLD
Other than the team we beat, which are probably going to be listed on a very short list.. We are the worst team in the NFL. The team, other than JC showed slight improvement in most areas. Just sucks because the reality is it was against a winless team.
2cents
A win is a win, but anyone who is satisfied by this, doesn't see the big picture. We cannot play like this and win against any even mediocre team in the league. Unless vast improvement comes soon, we are looking at 6 wins max. The schedule gets really hard after a few weeks, and I just don't think they can just suddenly turn it on and get that much better.
Burgold
A win is a win, but anyone who is satisfied by this, doesn't see the big picture. Happy doesn't = satisfied. I'm talking about your immediate emotional reaction to winning the game. Mine was happiness (not euphoric, but a quick "yay us!). I still think we are likely a terrible team, but I had a momentary reprieve from Redskin related gloom. Even today, I don't feel despondent. I think it's because I recalibrated and now expect four-five wins and so any win feels good because I no long think we're a good team, but there are other possibilities. SWFLSkins
A win is a win, but that was like dating your ugly sister just to make you happy. Sure it was still a date, but it ain't going anywhere.
BigMike21
It was the comeback for me. At least at that moment the knee went down I was just happy to win that game in the second half. I never really had very high expectations for us this year anyways.
Hail Gibbs
My joy came from the thrill and surprise of the comeback, although I wasn't all that happy with the performance. Really anything positive this team does is a bonus for me as I predicted them to go 6-10.
jaydub
A win is a win. I was happy with the comeback. I'm sure Dallas wish they could have come back. Or any team for that matter that lost. Yes we all no players aren't supposed to quit, but they proved it by there play on the field in the 2nd half. Now that game is done and can focus on 1more win next week hopefully. Veretax
I put I wasn't happy, because I saw the score and stats, but was not happy. Of course taping the game, then finding out they'd subbed the colts game for ours made me madder still >)
ccsl2
My expectations lowered after the Rams win...I wasn't mad, just realized that we are not as good as I thought we may be...and take wins anyway you can get them...I tell you one thing, the Skins make it interesting yet gut wrenching to watch...but they are always in the game somehow...trying to take it one game at a time. Fred Jones
We have an average starting QB. He had good half and a bad half. Combined it equals average. Our defense is good, but not good enough to win without help from the offense. So, we will finish in and around the 8-8 mark. If we get lucky we get in the playoffs, but that only happens every couple of seasons. So, we have two wins and I expect six or so more. Last year most came in the first eight games. Have to wait and see when wins come this year. This season if we had a pro bowl QB we are 3-1 at worst. Edit: I am tired of average, so winning will not be as much fun until we become a better than average team.
Burgold
Maybe it's the fact that after the first half, I was ready create a thread entitled: The Verdict is In. Fire Everybody! And then we actually made some half time adjustments and figured out a way to not just survive, but actually win a game. Sure, it a game against a crappy team, but WE'RE a crappy team too. And as bad as they have played, they have had chances to take over and take leads, but they didn't make plays.
Fred Jones
To add, I would say that it is the players more than the coaches. I blame Zorn for play calling and not having his team ready to play. However, if he had a franchise QB running his offense I wonder if his play calling would be shown not to be the problem? Simple execution by the QB, Oline and receivers have been a problem as well this year. Unfortunately, we won't find out, but the skins need a game changing QB if they want to be above average. SkinsHokieFan
I have completely recalibrated my expectations for the team this season. After preseason I thought we had a team that could contend for the division title if they got a few breaks Now I think at best we are looking at a 5 win season, I know the organization is broken, and I am not sure whether or not to cheer for losing the rest of the games and have the situion get so ugly to cause massive change
Mad Mike
Sadly, I have to say I felt nothing. Maybe even a little disgust. Call me crazy but mediocrity is not good enough. I want my team to at least be a contender. I don't know if we will turn things around this season or not but I still haven't seen much to give me hope. I'm sorry but the team the won Sunday doesn't stand a chance against anyone in the NFC East. We got lucky on a few plays and barely beat one of the worst teams in the NFL and a rookie QB. Hardly cause for celebration.

Maybe those who have been to more games can correct me, but based on the tv coverage and what the analysts were saying, the receivers were giving Campbell no options. His receivers really let him down this week. So, I don't know that you pin the blame on Campbell in its entirety. Despite all the hate he gets, this was his first truly bad performance. At least statistically, before this game he did pretty well. Right now, I'd say that Campbell is operating at a B- level (this includes yesterday's D- performance). With support, that should be pretty good. The question is, why isn't he getting support? Is his team giving up on him, on Zorn, on themselves, or are they just not good enough.
