Our First 6 Opponents may not even have a win when we faced them!?!?

Has that ever happened in the history of the NFL? The concerning part is we are getting by with wins by 2-3 points.

It may get ugly going down the stretch again. I read somewhere that Danny may get rid of Zorn/Campbell if we lose either of our next 2 games? I really would have liked to see Collins play in the 2nd half yesterday. Campbell played better but I really wanted to see something different out there and what he could have done.

I guess Zorn is content with going down with JC? Either way, the scheduling thing is baffling.

Giants 0-0

Rams 0-1

Lions 0-2

Bucs 0-3

Panthers 0-3

Chiefs 0-5 potentially??

LOL is that a joke? Of course the Giants were 0-0 it was the first game of the season.... The Giants are 4-0 so this means nothing to me. Nothing really to see here as a lot of teams were 0-0 in week 1  :chair:

Things have gotten ridiculous around these parts. :hysterical:

EDIT: Did you happen to read the BOLD above on here? Or from a CREDIBLE source and not just some "fan" speaking his mind?

I think that is an interesting way to look at it.

I don't think the OP had any point about the quality of the week 1 opponent by saying they were 0-0 when we played them. Just a piece of scheduling trivia that I think is kind of interesting.

Yeah, really. My point was has that ever happened in the history of the NFL? Obviously the Giants were 0-0 but IMO I think it is quite remarkable to go 6 weeks without ever facing a team with a win in the NFL. Let alone in a row like this to start the season.

I was just joking with someone about this... and I would find it interesting if we were going into week 7 and playing a team for the first time all year that wasn't winless... would have to be some type of record... first 6 games all against winless teams?

Doesn't matter who the Skins play typically. If they win, it's going to be by approximately one score. And if they lose - it's typically going to be by one score.

They always play to the level of their competition. And while I hate it, sure is fun to watch.

Hail.

Link plz? Or is this just something you made up?

I have a hard time believing he's bringing us back to win that game.

I was incorrect. I was paraphrasing of sorts from another thread as per Adam Schefter:

Last week's failure against the previously 0-19 Detroit Lions wasn't enough to get Redskins coach Jim Zorn fired.

Yet.

Adam Schefter of ESPN, citing multiple unnamed sources, reports that it's now not a matter of if but when, when it comes to the end of Zorn's tenure with the team.

Per Schefter, barring a trip to the playoffs and at least one win, Zorn most likely will be out.

In the next three weeks, the Redskins face teams that currently are a combined 0-9. So we still think there's a chance that owner Daniel Snyder will say farewell to Zorn during the bye week, if the 'Skins fail to scalp the Bucs, Panthers, and Chiefs -- or if they win only one of the three and then crap out on Monday Night Football against the Eagles to enter the off week.

And if Zorn realizes that his butt is on the line, the question becomes whether he'll bench quarterback Jason Campbell in the hopes that veteran Todd Collins will be able to save the season -- along with the skin on Zorn's rear end.

Maybe you're right, however Collins is a heady player. I strongly believe he would not have committed 4 turnovers yesterday and put this team in a better position to win if he played the entire game. Of course that is just my opinion.

I keep bringing up 2007 but Collins is the reason we went to the Playoffs. Yes, that was Al's offense but the guy is smart. If only he had Campbell's arm his career would be more than a permanent backup.
