First and foremost I hope I posted in the right place. I need to guidance. Some that my family and friends can not give me, some that only a true redskin fan, a homer, someone who knows the words of Hail to the Redskins. I recently ( as in the last 3 hours) got a intern offer with a NFL club. It would be working directly with the non-football operations of the franchise and a little one on one time with the owner. I am a sports business major and looking about going into the NFL or MLB or some big time league after graduating. So the team that offered me the internship is a NFC EAST time and is not our beloved Skins… so would you take the job? Good pay. Great opportunity and networking, but it’s a rival.. where do I draw the line? Any advice would really help I am really thinking about this one.

You better take that damn job.

quoted bigger and louder because if you don't we'll slap you! The question you're asking is very similar to a guy who is a 'Skins fan but gets drafted by the Eagles and wonders about whether he should go there. Even if its the 'pukes you gotta take that job, and then use Jerry Jones' money to buy Redskins stuff!

Take the job and hang 'Skin stuff all over your cubicle!

But take THAT job.

I like that I made a joke with the guy about hanging stuff up and he said that as long as its not behind closed doors he doesnt care lol. Well I think I am gonna take the internship. Its one year and it gets me closer to getting with the redskind. Maybe while I am there I can throw things at there starting quarter back throw him off his game just enough.. atleast while we play them

Take the job, have a great career. But don't forget where you came from. Someday buy the team from Snyder and bring back the glory!

Regarding your new employers - still be a Skins fan. If, at any point, you have an opportunity to get some ben-gay or similar liquid heat into their jockstraps, or some laxative into their gatorade barrel, go for it.

No offense at all, but the answer is so obvious that its actually a stupid question.

YOU BETTER TAKE THAT JOB!!!

Do not take job offers for granted, especially at these times. Something so minuscule as being a die hard fan is not worth the trade off.

Plus, the fact that your a sports business major makes this even more obvious. Most people would love the opportunity for that job. From my research, I heard it that it is really hard to get a job with a professional team when coming out of college, let alone while your in college.

Congrats on the job offer by the way, it isn't easy to come by in that field.

Do not take the job..If you take it, you will not have been a true skins fan...Even thinking of taking it means you ARE NOT A SKINS FAN!! PLEASE LEAVE THE BOARD!! You are not wanted here!!!

J/K:silly:

Take the damn job!!!! Football is football!!! thats your freaking career!!!

If you get the chance drop this off at the Owners office door:pooh:

LOL, wow okay so no negatives yet. guess I was way over thinking this huh? Maybe I can use this to leverage a gig with danny. that would be nice. I couldnt even get a interview with the redskins.

take the job! As far as using it as leverage to get a job with the redskins/danny you do not want to do that. As a former employee of ESPN/Redskins radio I would not recommend it. He'll crap on you every chance he gets (by he I mean his organization), the pay was horrible, it was so bad I didn't want to go to work most the time. Take the chance you area being given and cheer for the redskins on the side.

DO NOT BE AN IDIOT

I know you love the Redskins, but you're either going to work for the Giants, Eagles, or the Cowboys. Aside from the Cowboys, the other two are great organizations that you could really use to get your foot in the door.

We love the team, but the non-football side isn't really a well run operation.
