SlobberKnockinFootball
If the losing continues Snyder is going to be forced to do things differently to save face with the fanbase who has practically had enough of this 3 ring circus. He's going to be forced into giving the fans what they want if he wants them to continue showing up at the games and buying all his overpriced garbage. With that being said.. Who's the next viable GM candidate that we would be happy to have as our leader?
TheGoodBits
Did you just give yourself 5 stars on your thread, when this has already been discussed at length, as recently as today? edit: here you go... http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=301685 sitting right at the top of the 2nd page
SlobberKnockinFootball
No I didn't actually.. I don't even know how to do that on here.. LOL I know it's been discussed at nausem...but so has the coach, the O-line, the D-line, Randle-El's fair catches, Moss disappearing in games, Portis blowing chunks. So as you can see, what's wrong with what I listed in my thread? Isn't ES just a constant spin cycle anyway?

Anyway, ES does end up turning into a constant spin cycle, but the mods try to minimize that by keeping identical topics confined to one thread at a time. It's not an enviable task. Anyway, there's some really good discussions going on in the thread I linked about who should be our next GM.
TD_washingtonredskins
I agree...the second we turn things over to a new and competent GM, we'll have a good shot at returning to prominence. I hope at some point Snyder can do this. He should hire someone, give him the keys to the car, and support all of his decisions. If, after several years he's not happy, then you can look to replace him. Preferably, the GM would conduct a fire sale of any veteran who has value and load up on draft picks and re-assemble this team over the next 2-3 off-seasons. We should view ourselves as essentially the 1989 Dallas Cowboys.
Oldfan
I think Vinny's done a first-rate job since he took over in 2008. In his shoes, I'd be looking to replace Blache and Zorn might need some management, but I have no problem with Vinny.
myzhi
A trick question I see. Next GM is also next HC. Elite available coaches, Shannon, Cowher, Gruden and so on, would want full control.
BONES
I also believe vinny has done a good job.
Custer
One thing I keep hanging up on. Danny Snyder did not get his money from lady luck or the tooth fairy. His success speaks volumes for his business acumen. Football is business. Why he thinks he is in the position to make day-to-day decisions on a ship this big amazes me. Looking at the information provided here, and (very, admittingly) little surfing, I see no multiple success SB teams WITHOUT A TOP NOTCH GM Is Synder's ego truly that big? If it is, we are in deeep doo doo.

KingGibbs
Vinny isn't going anywhere. I swear Danny and Vinny must spoon at night.

I would like to see a coach stick around a while and to be frank...Cower has done a 15 year job, Shanahan did 12 years with the broncos. How many more years do you expect them to coach. It will be like gibbs 2.0, he will come and get us to the playoffs 2 out of 4 seasons ans then leave us will another HC to be a .500 team. I think we need a proven GM (ossie newsome or someone of that status) to find us a up and coming HC that will stay here for 10+ seasons.

I think we could have done a little better than Zorn though. Why we didn't promote G Williams I'll never know...
