TheismannQuote
http://www.news8.net/news/stories/0909/660583.html NBA Star Delonte West Arrested on Gun Charges Sources tell ABC 7 News that West was driving a three-wheel motorcycle about 10 p.m. Thursday night when he allegedly cut off a Prince George's County canine officer in a marked cruiser. A search of West turned up a 9mm Beretta pistol in West's waistband, a .357 Ruger strapped to his leg and a shotgun in a guitar case slung over his back, the sources said. Yea, just cruising around on my motorcyle???

G.A.C.O.L.B.
LOL and Stern thinks his little dress code policy will convince us the NBA isn't a league of thugs. Yeah ok. Let me know when the NBA even approaches the level of arrests that the NFL has.
No Excuses
He's not a star, but this is still a really huge setback for the Cavaliers. He is the best guard on that team.

Bostic Hog
The NBA isn't even close to the NFL. I couldn't even tell you who the last NBA player to be arrested was before this. I'm not going to spend time analyzing this statement, but a quick google search yielded this report in 2005: http://sports-law.blogspot.com/2005/07/nba-players-that-get-in-trouble-with_20.html And lets not forget that the sheer number of NFL players is 5x as much as NBA players. I don't think the NBA'ers are as law-abiding as some might think.
