ntotoro
I think we've seen everything he can do. The only thing left to say is "ciao."
TD_washingtonredskins
I don't have a problem with this. I heard the interview and think he's right. Campbell has to be who he is. He can get on his teammates when he needs to, but he can't make EVERYONE fall into line. That's just not in his personality. The QBs that can do that are the ones who have an air of untouchability (even though I don't believe that's a word) to them. Other players need to know that the organization is behind the QB for them to take him seriously.

gortiz
O cheese and crackers. Smoot Point Really
My problem with Jason Campbell is that he is merely average, but relies on the rest of the team in order to be good. He isn't great and doesn't make people around him better. I'd like to see him prove me wrong over the next few weeks (and to the Super Bowl), but right now I see him as a solid backup NFL quarterback. wvtbred
I heard it live as well and just like everything other time I see or hear him think, just grow some balls and take some blame for a change. Obviously I can't wait until he is out of a Skins uni.
SoCalSkins
On fans perception that Jason is cool and won’t get into the face of other guys:“That’s not true because yesterday I did a lot of that. It’s just not caught on TV and the camera is not on me 24/7 where they see me what I am doing. Lots of times I was on people a lot yesterday. One time, I got on my own self. People probably think I am crazy for getting on my own self but most definitely I was upset when I got the ball knocked out of my hands, but other than that, I am on guys. In practice, I am pushing guys. I am hollering at guys to pick it up to do what we got to do to have a better practice to do things. People just don’t hear that and catch that on camera. I am not going to do it when a camera is looking at me: Oh I did it just because a camera is on me so everybody can see I do it. I am doing it for that. I just do it when it is supposed to be done and at the right time and the right place. Yeah, I do a lot of that. I am calm and cool for the most part and sometimes that’s a little something else that comes out of me. It’s not always going to be caught on camera to show the whole world that he really gets onto those guys. It’s not about how you get on somebody, it’s doing it for a purpose.” I think the title of the page is referring to this quote. I think that was actually a very good answer for him to give. He or his publicist must have read the thread when he called out Devin Thomas and the reaction to it here.
Nash614
How about throwing a TD and shutting up. Never beat the Giants...never beat the Giants... I believe he did, chief. And what he said is true...It's a team effort. All of them, with the exception of Randle El and Cooley, didn't do well.

I said in another thread that there are two types of people in the world leaders and followers. The starting QB of a team in the NFL needs to be a leader and Jason is a follower. drtdrums
Look...JC needs to be the leader on the field. But Zorn and Blache need to be the "butt chewers". That's not the QB's place unless someone needs correcting in the huddle. Zorn has looked spineless, though, letting Portis have his head and such. The military-discipline shown by good teams does not exist for the Redskins, and it's the coaching staff's fault.
Arsenic
What a weird interview this was, if I'm thinking of the same one.. At one point JC talked about his personality and how others think he lacks it.. Then he makes this really weird grin / pause that totally showed he had zero personality. ha. Did this strike anyone else as odd? What a weird dude.. I wish we had drafted Tom Brady.. Of course, if personality were an issue, we wouldnt have Cerrato either.. hmm.. Perhaps we should start giving personality tests at the combine.. There seems to be more to it.

Obviously I can't wait until he is out of a Skins uni. He did take blame. He mentioned both of the big mistakes he made. I didn't see him blame someone else for throwing the INT, nor did I see him blame anyone else for his fumble.
