You know what, dude? It doesn't matter. There's no reason for you and I to quarrel over Jay Cutler. He's not our QB whether he sucks or not. Jason Campbell is our QB and he sucks. When he stops sucking, I'll come right in here and congratulate you with a BIG smile on my face. I just don't think that's ever going to happen. If it does, I will not be sorry at all to say I was wrong because we'll be in the playoffs with a bullet. Do you honestly think we will make the playoffs this season? If we don't, come see me and tell me why we didn't.

no offense but where were you getting the numbers to call cutler a 2nd year player?

Why is Campbell sooooooooo stupid?

In an interview he says that the reason the offense failed is because they only got 5 plays in the first quarter. DUDE! Whose fault is that?

Throw the ball accurately and get some first downs and you'll have more than FIVE plays.

Boy this dude is stupid. And will absolutely N-O-T take responsibility. Now he is blaming the Giants for hogging the ball. Whew!

wow bob, i have a hard time believing you are the sharpest tool in the shed after reading this post ripping Campbell's intelligence

I really dont see how people are blaming Campbell for the loss. He didnt have a bad game...it wasnt a great game but it wasnt bad. He didnt throw 4 picks like some guy named Cutler. The fumble and 1 interception were his fault but other than that he is juat a guy out there trying to make the best out of the situation.

People need to be upset and frustrated with Jim Zorn. His playcalling in atrocious and on a high school level. We have to have the most predictable offense in the leauge. And we still barely lose games. That lets me know that it is all on play calling. If we were aggressive and used our talent right then we would be a dangerous team. Zorn needs to grow some balls and decide to attack the opposing defences. If not then we will be 8-8 at best. Another wasted year

sounds like JC feels Zorn is handcuffing him with the short ****.

i just want to see us run out of the spread formation...baby steps, i guess.

once again, none of this matters. Next year is what counts because Jan 1. Zorn will be fired, and Feb. 1 Campbell will be a free agent.

We will be rid of these 2 one month after our season is over and we can start thinking about that long offseason featuring minicamps, the draft, adnfree agency. Matter of fact, it has already begun. Its just a longer offseason.

Agreed on the 50/50.

For the onside kick, I couldn't see well, but didn't we not even come within five yards of the ball? How is that poor hands?

The people on the field to get the onside; it was alexander and a few other guys I cant remember, most that have probably never even touched a football in a game ever. Sure, the receiving team will have their hands guys, but our guys were slow and had stone hands. We were no where close to getting it.

Recap for those who aren't able to listen in:

- Everyone Messed up. We can't put the blame on one player.

Says the person who had a fumble and INT that lead to the Giants scoring.

- Too relaxed on the fumble. Should have stepped up in pocket.

And he wonders why the Coach and front office are up in the air about him:laugh:

- JC wasn't given the opportunity to throw it downfield. Wasn't given the chance to throw it at all.

see answer from above

- Got down early. Unable to get into rhythm and has to build that trust between Zorn and himself.

This HAS ALWAYS been a problem with JC getting in rhythm it's a rare occurence. When is he ever in rhythm?? After how many years with Santana he is NEVER on the SAME page. with him. Malcolm,Devin,Fred,Marko ...I can see. NOT Santana,Cooley,ARE they've been together far too long.

WHY the hell is still talking about building trust with Zorn?:chair::chair:

I'm a Campbell critic but seriously some of you need to look at yesterdays game a little objectively. Weather you like it or not, the guy was completing passes even before the late game drive at a pretty good clip.

Yesterdays game falls on Zorn for not adjusting his game plan. 15 first downs and 11 runs when you were barely getting an yardage from the plays was moronic at best. Putting your quarterback in those situations isn't going to yield amazing results.

Weather it's about confidence in Campbell or not, is a whole different issue. Zorn needs to realize that his job hinges on the basis of Campbell's performance so he better start calling plays, weather the quarterback can execute them or not. There is no excuse for running 11 times on 15 first downs with such little success. Half of those should have been passes. Spread the Giants with 3 WR's and 1 TE and pass to set up the run or PA.

This is correct. A few of the players on our "hands" team were HB Blades, Chris Wilson, Mike Sellers and Lorenzo Alexander.

Danny Smith is big of an idiot as Jim Zorn. Suisham nailed a perfect onside but the slow as molasses players failed to do their job because they shouldn't be doing it to begin with.

+1 ChillSkinzFan84

Every QB makes mistakes. Zorns play calling was bad. Even if someone thinks its on Jason, he is just doing what Zorn is teaching him to do. Its mostly Zorns fault.

Like never adjusting to Moss being blanketed. To ARE and Jason both not handling broken plays well. Does Zorn ever tell guys what to do on broken plays? He runs a very static offense. Defenses dont have to prepare for a hurry up let alone shotgun. It may have been prevent late but 4 wide in shotgun - thats where we moved the ball. Why is Zorn so afraid to go shotgun before the game is over, and attack a weak injured thin DB core? I would have gone 4 wide all day until we found the weakest link in their secondary and attack. And get ARE out of the game inside the 10, please. You can get away with one tiny WR in the red zone, but not two. Look in our recent past at how we did there. The WR screen to Moss on the 5? That is a very short field and a bad play. 3 runs with 95 yds to go? Why not go deep, 95 yds of field is a lot to cover. Throw a fade if you are freaked about the safety. Stretch the field give Jason more than one deep ball a game to get into a groove.

Ugh. Facepalm pathetic offensive performance again.

Yeah an that quarterback and head coach won't preform up to people on here standard so we have to listen to the same crap again. Things will never change with some fans here. Lord forbid we give a coach and quarterback more then a year or two to gel.

Jason had more time yesterday than he has in the last 4 seasons combined. He's a ridiculous egomaniac if he thinks he didn't have time to throw the ball. This alone shows me he'll never get it.

I think they were more implying that Zorn wasn't giving him the chance to go down field when they asked JC that question, not his line giving him time.

And why is this becoming a Cutler thread? Is that going to be the Campbell defense this year? How does Cutlers' poor performance have anything to do with the Redskins now? Why not talk about Sanchez if you're going this route and talk about a QB that went on the road and won his first career start. (and also )played very well on 3rd down and lead and offense that actually scored offensive TDs!!!)

How else can you make Jason look better? Let's deflect the negative attention JC is rightfully receiving , by throwing :pooh: on the wal and seeing what sticks.

Good and bad plays. Doesn't look like the bumb you all make him out to be. And notice the Giants D on the final drive. Prevent D's blitz and jam receivers?

Good and bad plays. Notice the downfield view on the fumble play.

People really need to watch this video. On the fumble no one is open downfield. On our failed redzone trip Heyer blows it on two consecutive plays. Lets Tuck shoot through untouched to get Portis on the sweep and then doesnt even slow him down on a speed rush on the following pass. Most of the recievers arent even looking for the ball by the time Campbell is hit.

Some of you haters really are borderline clueless when it comes to evaluating a QB. Campbell sure as hell isnt perfect but when given sufficient time in the pocket he is definitely good enough to move this offense int he right direction.

I've posted that video at least five times and none of them acknowledge it

The one thing that is most frustrating to me is this.......Its third and long, we have NO RB's in the back field and Jason is under center. Why the hell is he not in shotgun?

It was done time and time again, and NY was all over it with blitzes which gave Jason about 1 second to throw the ball. What kinda crap formation is that?

It's called stepping up into the pocket. It buys more time. There was certainly plenty of room. Just watch the video.

I never said he shouldnt have stepped up and avoided the fumble. Just the fact that everyone is claiming that Campbell had chances to go downfield and didnt. The Giants had excellent coverage on the play. Other then that play and Moss failing to get him out of his only other bad decision he played a pretty good game yet everyone acts as though the sky is falling.

A good QB, even a DECENT one should know how to step up into the pocket and buy a few seconds AFTER 5 YEARS IN THE NFL.

And you call others clueless? Look in the mirror buddy.
