Drew Brees should be a Redskin

I have commented several times on how the Skins could have had Brees. The Chargers made it known they were not going to re-sign him. Even though he was injured and had surgery we could have had him come in for a workout during the Summer. It was a huge mistake for the Skins to not even consider signing him. Once JC leaves the Skins will our front office ever admit to the Bree's mistake? I doubt it. Since Brees has arrived in New Orleans they are a playoff bound team each year. If you get the right guy, then your team has a chance to compete for the playoffs each year. Passing on Bree's was a huge mistake and we continue to pay for this mistake in judgement. If our front office can't see the difference between Drew Brees and Jeff George then you can see how evaluating future talent for this team could continue to be a train wreck. So lets not blame everything on Coach Zorn.

since brees arrived in new orleans, he has been a fantasy stud.

that team is not close to the playoffs because the offense slows down and the defense keeps on giving up points at the same clip. even with the mastermind Gregg Williams there, who turned the jaguars around with his genius and was fired.

they made the playoffs in 2006, the year he arrived. they eeked one out against philly in the first round and then were blown out by chi-town.

watching the saints is fun, but just because a player has success on one team doesn't mean that it would translate here.

and i think we all have seen the examples of that.
