blue collar
There's pleanty of blame to go around as we all know, Zorn and JC, we know they're not coming back next year, but it's time to come to the conclusion that Moss is not a #1. Number ones do not get totally shutdown as often as he does. Good coverage is one thing, but he was totally a non factor out there today.
Hemlock
That has happened before. Moss usually finds a way to adjust. You gotta take into consideration that the Giants' gameplan was likely featuring a "shutdown Moss... do whatever it takes" clause.
Soup
I don't think its moss, I bet if MOss went to a team like the pats or Saints he would have huge numbers. But if Zorn contiues to run WR screens or the crap play calling we all saw today, it doesn't really matte what WR the redskins have.

CjSuAvE22
I agree totally crap playcalling our run plays worked maybe 4 times max all game yet in the third quarter i saw zorn try to run the ball 3 times in a row....it was 3rd and 8 and he handed it off.......cant blame moss they prolly had 2 guys on him all game this team was just never given a chance to succeed imo with the play calling. StillUnknown
just because he's our #1, doesn't make him a true #1 receiver moss seems to be great in spurts
SIXX99
I think that fight just rattled him. But all the teams in the east except Dallas, shut Moss down for some reason.
WSHRedskins3ATLBraves3
Santana often disappears in big games. It's past getting old. It's old.
Est.1974
I'd say Moss was poor today. Gave up on the Webster int, looked out of focus first half. Then its 17-0 and its too late.Don't matter after that.
Farbod21
Moss cant throw the ball to himself. JC was dog****... Plain and simple.
CM916
Kelly and Thomas need to step up because Randel El needs to stay in the slot but we also need to move on with Moss if he keeps this up. We should have given Mitchell a look, he was active.
pilsburypgh
It's not like it happens every once in a while, Moss gets shutdown quite often. cause moss never should have been a #1. He was always a #2 WR.

Yeah Moss would do great on those teams because they would use him in the slot where he belongs. At best he could be a great slot WR. I would prefer to see Kelly, Thomas or Mitchel on the outside and Moss in the slot. They need to try something new and fresh. This is the same stuff they showed last year. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK! bobs4
Where was Kelly. All I saw was Campbell throwing to Moss, A.R.E. and Cooley the whole game. In fact this is a recipe for failure. This is why we lost last year. Why do it again. Zorn cannot learn. He is incapable of learning because we are seeing the same mistakes and same formula. Like Clinton Portis running into the line left....2 yards. Next play Clinton Portis running into the line right. 2 yards. Zorn is incapable of learning. Kenorv
Moss is not a number one. The only receiver his size that is a true number one is Steve Smith(Carolina's Steve Smith) and Moss is no Steve Smith. Kelly and Thomas are clearly not the answer so I expect Washington to draft another WR next year or trade for someone like Boldin or maybe even Brandon Marshall. MumboSauce
Moss is a playmaker, good toughness, wheels, quicks..but he's a 2 or 3 like ARE.
bcrawfo1
Ive been thinking this for some time now...we like to give Moss a pass alot of times b/c of the Dallas game...but that was almost 4 yrs ago now. Moss is not a bad receiver however he is not a #1 but b/c he is a #1 he needs 2 step up to the plate. The thing is I knew he would not be a factor after the fight; he takes himself out of the game. Also, he displays really bad body language. I dont see Campbell shaking his hands and stomping his feet when Moss drops passes (which he is prone 2 do)
HailToTheRedskins14
I got plenty to say about Santana Moss, Clinton Portis, and Jason Campbell. Honestly I've been less and less impressed with all three of them for the last couple years.
Xero21
Moss is definitely a #1 WR. Not a top 10 WR, but a #1. The real question is, who on this team is a #2? Anybody? Or can teams continue to double Moss and not pay for it.
DanDan
You mean IRON HANDS Moss. When he does get thrown to he drops 50%. He was the same at UM. He just got thrown to enough his stats looked great and he DID have enough speed to make a big play now and then. He's done. But someone is going to have to catch some passes to sit him down.
