budski
I figured I would start this senseless thread so all rumors could be put here. 1. Rumor has it yet another Campbell Colt thread will be started by day's end. 2. Old Fan will start a thread with more statistical analysis than anybody can comprehend. 3. This thread will be closed. 4. A "closer look" at the last preseason game will be started before the game ends.

DCskinFAN
Some think Sinorice Moss may get cut by giants. http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2009/09/finals_days_in_ny_giants_unifo.html If this happens should we find a spot for him in washington? and who would he replace? I think it would be interesting to bring him in and try him at punt returner....

TheLongshot
The only reason there would be to do it is if he was a great special teams player, and I don't think he was even that in NY.

Gracelander
I was going to have a reason as to why I don't want Sinorice, but I can't stop laughing at Flycoach's signature

McD5
The line began this week with Jax favored by 3 pts. In the last 48 hours, it has gone up to 6 1/2 pts. That is probably Vegas telling you that the ticket scandal will cause the players to be unfocused, and likely to lay an egg tonight. Over/Under 35 points. http://www.therx.com/lines/lines.php?sport=nfl&period=0 In other news.....with the timing of ticketgate, maybe it is better that this game is on the road. MattFancy
Only if we can get Randy and then we'd have all the Moss WRs on one team! Then it would be ok if all Campbell threw to was Moss!
nightbird
If his name was Sinorice Smith, would you have posted this question?
jkypoo
I think we have 5 quality receivers already. Moss Kelly El Thomas Mitchell And Thomas has looked quick on ST returns. So...no...Sinorice would be redundant.
KingGibbs
I dare to say that anybody that gambles on the 4th preseason NFL game might have a slight gambling problem.
Botched
If we had roster space, I'd have a hard time turning down any WR who's last name was Moss. But, we already have about 18 WRs so I think we're set for now.
mnb123
I guess they are counting on a pick-6 from CB again
DiscoBob
Can he outperform Randle El? That's the only WR roster spot that I would give up. He'd have to be able to be #3 slot reciever and punt returner. What I've seen (albeit limited) has not convinced me that he is a 1-3 NFL receiver, BUT, sometimes a scenery change does wonders... I also wonder at Mannings ability to throw to undersized receivers? Eli is always throwing to larger receivers who use their body (Burress, Tyree, Toomer, Smith, etc.) Getting the ball to a guy like Moss (either one) may not be something that he is good at? Just a thought, I'm not sure it holds much water.....
McD5
I dare to say that anybody that gambles on the 4th preseason NFL game might have a slight gambling problem. I would probably agree with this. But it is interesting to see how the line moves, and how something off the field, non-player related, can change gambler's views tremendously. santana_4_prez
Didn't you bet on NE last week because you thought Brady was going to play 3 quarters? (score was tied with Brady in the game)
MattFancy
Maybe it has something to do with Portis, Rogers, Haynesworth, and Fletcher not playing? Edited September 3, 2009 by MattFancy
Old Bay
That is probably Vegas telling you that the ticket scandal will cause the players to be unfocused, and likely to lay an egg tonight. McD5
What sites do you use? www.therx.com Ticketgate is all they are talking about with this game. A few weeks ago.....the Giants were supposed to walk all over Chicago. Then the Plaxico incident happened, and they walked right into a buzzsaw. Many are predicting the same thing tonight.
