What's weird?

The Redskins haven't had any fans in the stadium for a while now. ;)

Patiently waiting for the moment "That exec on that team" accidentally gets caught on cam doing something nefarious (like porn, a rail of coke, etc), not knowing the networks have gone live with him.

Also hoping that team is not us

Lol. You know something is bound to happen.

Nothing would please me more than if Tom brady decided to enter the hall of fame as a buccaneer.

Lol. No way would that happen. Brady wouldnt do Patriots fans wrong like that. He does and says all the right things.

Yes, I know.

And I also believe behind closed doors the nfl would not allow it.

It was just an observation that I would love it if that happened, it would erase 20 years of anger I've harbored towards the obnoxious Patriots fans that surround me everyday.

How many times over the years does it need to be said around here that players don't "enter the Hall of Fame" as a member of a specific team? It's not like other sports that way.

Hmm, I didn't know that, I've been here 15 years and I've honestly never seen that.

I apologize if I inconvenienced you and please if there's any way I could ever make it up to you don't be afraid to ask.

lol. Sorry if that was a bit rough around the edges, it's just been happening around here forever on this topic. Comes up every year around HOF induction time

I’ve never heard about that either. I thought that’s how the HOF worked 🤷🏻‍♂️ Learn something new every day i guess :P

With Trent gone, and a much younger player at LT replacing him, do we potentially have the youngest starting 22 in the NFL? I don't think we've had a roster this young during the Dan Snyder era.

Offense:

QB: Dwayne Haskins (22)

RB: Derrius Guice (22)

WR: Terry McLaurin (24)

WR: Antonio Gibson (21)

WR: Steven Sims (23)

TE: Thaddeus Moss (21)

LT: Saahdiq Charles (20)

LG: Wes Martin (23)

OC: Chase Roullier (26)

RG: Brandon Scherff (28)

RT: Morgan Moses (29)

Average age: 23.5

Defense:

DE: Chase Young (21)

DT: Daron Payne (22)

DT: Jonathan Allen (25)

DE: Montez Sweat (23)

OLB: Cole Holcomb (23)

MLB: Reuben Foster (26)
OLB: Shaun Dion Hamilton (24)

CB: Fabian Moreau (26)
CB: Kendall Fuller (25)

FS: Sean Davis (26)
SS: Landon Collins (26)

Average age: 24.3

The combined average is 23.9 years old. We are normally one of the older teams at about 26 years old going into the season. Of course, this doesn't account for backups on the roster which in my opinion should always be stable veteran types. I have to admit though, It's hard not to get excited about how young our team is and where they could potentially be at in a couple of years. Some of these starters are generous, but this is the "youngest case scenario" basically if you will.

I'm curious if anyone who works with heavy weights notices anything strange about the knee movement when he's bending to squat?  You get a good angle on that first squat, to me, it looks like he's not fully confident in his knee to do a proper squat.  Any thoughts?

I DVRd the 1st round of the 1989 NFL draft that aired on ESPN a few weeks ago, and it's a good watch.  Don't know if anyone else caught it, but if you see it on the listings, definitely check it out.

Some of my favorites:

1.  Joe t railing on the cowboys for not trading back after they stay at #1 and take aikman.

2.  Later joe t interviews him and asks aikman, "how excited are you to hand the ball off to Herschel walker?"

3.   Young Berman and Tom Jackson.  Awesome

4.  In the opening dialogue, talking about the rumors of Redskins trading for Gerald Riggs swirling.  Funny to see that snapshot in time.

5.  Studs in this draft: aikman, b sanders, d sanders, d. thomas etc

6.  Deion being deion.  Flashy and arrogant.

7.  After aikman was selected, they talked about how rare it was that a QB went number one.  Only the 6th time it happened.  Now QB is most likely to go #1.

8.  The ridiculous hats that fans wore back then.  So ridiculous I wish I could buy one today, one that wasn't used on eBay that is a shade of yellowish-brown.

9.  Analysts being surprised teams kept passing on Andre Rison.  I think we now know why.

I could go on, but really interesting to watch.

This is one of those silver linings of the lockdown.  If life was moving at a normal pace, no way I spend three and a half hours watching a draft from 31 years ago.  But I'm glad I watched it.

I don't want to waste any more time thinking about Trent.  So glad we cut the cord.  I look forward to seeing our dline face him this season.
