Mark The Homer
Yeah that game coin was kinda cool. I'm not sure if it's a $161 cool
chipwhich
Yeah that game coin was kinda cool. I'm not sure if it's a $161 cool The coin is cool, but there is nothing anywhere stating it has anything to do with the Redskins. It's a Lions NFL Game coin. Limit 1 of 5000. The certificate/paperwork mentions nothing Redskins, only the auction title. If it had a Redskins logo it would be tempting.

Mark The Homer
Good point. **** man, I thought they used that specific coin in the coin flip. One in five thousand? I think I'll pass. Here's another thing that I found today on NFL auctions that bothers me: http://www.nflauction.nfl.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=106106308&prmenbr=65664914&aunbr=106453018 The league sells this scam jersey - which has been doctored - with an NFL Certificate Of Authenticity. **** man, don't these people have a soul? I guess they figure if they call it authentic instead of team issued, they can do whatever they want? Anything for a buck.

My assumption is the NFL just pays some company to run this stuff, but nobody really over sees the deals. The company is just a wholesale/web company and gets the NFL's badge of honor. So they buy a case of jerseys from who knows where and some signed balls. Stick an NFL authenticity card in it and call it a day. That Lions coin is blatantly misrepresented. Mark The Homer
So is the Portis jersey. Oh, and btw, all sales are final, no returns accepted.

Ned Flanders
Wow, so that's just a 1 of 5000 commemorative metal POS then. A little misleading to me IMO - kind of makes it look like a game used coin, although it doesn't say that. Wow, good catch indeed
