Big Blue Joe
I don't know about Cowboys fans, but I'm sure Brandon Jacobs is very happy to hear that news.

Mr. Jones
I don't know about Cowboys fans, but I'm sure Brandon Jacobs is very happy to hear that news. It wasn't even Jacobs that Mike Jenkins did the ole move on, it was one of their other running backs. That shouldn't be the only thing he's judged on, by the end of last season he was very good in coverage and should continue to improve this year as the defense plays more man to man which is where his strengths lie. This is also because Scandrick has shown a real knack for playing as the slot CB which in this pass happy league is basicly a starting position too. The Cowboy's coverage should be much improved this year over last with their rookies having more experiance and the replacement of Anthony Henry was too slow to be a starting CB anymore. Sensabaugh also represents a significant coverage upgrade over the combination of Roy Williams, Keith Davis and Pat Watkins. The run support from the secondary will be weaker however. Yeah Mike Jenkins and Scandrick are real upgrades. Because you know, they showed so much last year about how well they can play. Not that they are unproven or anything  Sensabaugh, good coverage? :rotflmao:
OWUeagleMD
Meh. I don't see it as much of step down from sports journalism. Then you are incorrectly appropriating ESPN and the back pages of the New York tabloids to encompass all of sports journalism. There's plenty of good sports journalism out there. Not that they are unproven or anything :doh:Sensabaugh, good coverage? :rotflmao: They both played really well last year as rookies, particularly Scandrick. If you don't think Sensabaugh is a coverage upgrade you obviously haven't been paying attention these past few years. I'm not saying any of them will be great simply an improvement over last year. schmitty_199
Personally I think your reading way to much into this. Ok maybe Jenkins is penciled in to take the majority of 1st team reps when training camp starts, but how is that different from pretty much any other player in the league? That in no way means there wont be competition.

AN HONEST COWPOKE FAN, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? lol but seriously sensabaugh is decent and that means in coverage he is a vast upgrade over williams who was the most overrated safety in the NFC
DeMarco Murray 29
AN HONEST COWPOKE FAN, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? lol but seriously sensabaugh is decent and that means in coverage he is a vast upgrade over williams who was the most overrated safety in the NFC I hear that man. There has been a lot of rave and good talk about Gerald during practice thus far. They are in shorts and helmets so take it for what it is worth. He was one of the Jaguars best players on defense last year. I just hope he comes in and can be half way decent in coverage. Something we have lacked back there for years. Ryman of the North
Yeah the pokes have had brutal deep covereage for several seasons, I was actually kind of choked they grabbed sensabaugh as he is decent and will be a hug upgrade in that facet. I hate the cowpies but what good is blind hate, I know what they are good at and what their weaknesses are, credit where credit is due.
