I have some sanducks, trendy as all hell but they are comfy and a nice change up from the millions upon millions of flip flops you will see in the young professional bar scene in the summer.

they're trendy to you because they are surfer shoes!!! If you don't surf you shouldn't wear em

please explain who they are "surfer shoes". Don't misunderstand me, I wouldn't wear them because I have seen homeless men in Baltimore wear shoes that look about the same and others even better.

But I don't how they are any different than a different take on classic low top casual loafer? My whole wifes family is from Florida and they all surf. I don't see a single one wear those.

NOT sandals. Wear a nice pair of KSwiss or Diesel tennis shoes. Flip flops are fine, too.

If you are 40 and a high roller, the ladies don't sweat you for KSwiss or Diesel. That's childs play.

Flip flops aren't cool either.

And timba's with shorts don't rock anyones world. :silly:

You gotta hit 30 and get the sandals vibe. Those surfer shoes don't work for anyone.

You must have been drinking for a while tonight to say that to her...

haha I'm not going to treat her any differently than I would any of the dudes on this forum, what she said made 0 sense to me so regardless of her chromosomal makeup I'm going to call it like I see it, and anyone who thinks that you have to do a certain activity to wear a certain type of clothing can... kiss my ass :hysterical:

The company is based in southern cali. Their shoes were originally made for surfers. It's a surf brand, just like Reef. Just like DC is a skater brand.

Ok so for all those of you talkin **** about people wearing Tapout and Affliction shirts when they don't wrestle? Same thing. Same thing if you see a person decked out in DC when they don't skate. Called a poser.

no. sandals will never be good. No matter what your age. It's not the brand the ladies like, it's the look. Sandals don't look good.

They are all clothes! For people who wear clothes!

Isn't there a picture on here with you in redskins underpants? Do you play for the redskins? OMG POSER!

good one:rolleyes:

Well you see, you are as guilty as the rest of us, you wear clothes that endorse something you are a fan of. The Washington Redskins. The same way that anyone wearing Tapout or Affliction is a fan of MMA. The same way someone who wears DC is a fan of skateboarding.

You do not need to "participate" in the activity to be a fan of it and represent it.

However, if you hate MMA and wear Tapout, you are a poser, just as if you hate skateboarding and wear DC you are a poser.

As for my "surfer" shoes, I think surfing is pretty cool, so by my own logic I think I am safe. And my logic is really the only logic that matters :)

If you wear an Affliction or a Tapout shirt you are 100 times more douchey than a person wearing AE/AF/Hollister/Aeropostale. I don't care how fake or not fake you are. Those are the rules.

I've never been one for labels. You should wear what you want to wear. Perhaps a particular company came out with a line of clothes directly geared towards a particular market segment, but in actuality, 99% of clothes is not functional outside of fashion and covering your body.

So if someone who has never picked up a skateboard in their whole life sees a pair of DC shoes and likes the clothes at Pacific Sunwear, then let them wear it in peace. If they are going around saying they are a skater, then that is posing.

What you where shouldn't define you. It says something about your taste in clothing and perhaps what kind of personality you have (ie. laid back, traditional, artistic etc), but it certainly not say if you are a wrestler, skater or whatever.

I agree. I bust on guys with those shirts not b/c if they wrestle or not, but mostly because they are douches in terms of personality.

those are totally fine. Even WITH socks, if you're coming from playing bball. I have a pair of those that I would wear after playing ball so I wouldn't wear my bball shoes out on the street.

Yeah I don't wear kswiss or deisel but I do have 2 pairs of Ascics Tigers that I usually wear with shorts. So fresh.
