royallypwned
i dont thnk he is looking for a serious answer. Well I'm serious when I say if my 13 yr old son was dating an Eagles fan, I'd ground him indefinitely.
GoSkins561
There are different definitions of 2nd base. I would not be too happy with most of them.To answer the question, I don't think he is doing anything that he shouldn't be doing... yet. i dont thnk he is looking for a serious answer. He isn't? What is the point of the thread?
BigMike619
an iggles fan would be a step up for a cowbum family and that was my opinion fellas judging by the responses and what he responds too.

BigMike619
if you are somewhat of a father figure to that kid just ask him about it. ask him if he has ever kissed a girl. if he squirms and says no then youre ok. if not then you need to talk to him. but at 13 it is still a little young for most boys to be trying to go all the way. GoSkins561
More of a mentor. He listens to me pretty well though. Are you dating his Mom? and where is his father? I would say you should redirect his energy elsewhere, sports, and limit his interaction with the ladies,.

He told me he'd already had his first kiss a few months ago... I don't think he's doing much with these girls right now though. I'm more worried about if this should be an early warning sign for future behaviors. Statistics say that kids from single parent families are much morel likely to have sex at a young age. I know his older sister was having sex in 8th grade.

Wrong Actually what 81 said is absolutely 100 percent correct, the boy doesn't have a father, he has the OP stepping up to a plate providing guidance and caring about him, which IMO is awesome. The problem is, the OP may or may not be in a position to tighten the leash (come directly home form school, be home by 8:00, no kids in the house when an adult isn't around etc..) Burgold
It really depends on if he has had his Bar Mitzvah yet. At thirteen, you become a man with a man's set of responsibilities and duties. Playtime is over after the Bar Mitzvah. So, if he's galavanting around with the girls after that you need to have a talk with him. If he hasn't had his Bar Mitzvah yet, he's just a goofy kid and I wouldn't worry about it. However, if he has and he's still acting like a playa... then it's time to enlist him in the military. You got to start early with some of these unruly young men.
