BKSkinsFan
I cried when my daughter was born, but I really broke down when the doctor had trouble getting my wife at the time to stop bleeding.
RedskinFeathers
Agreed. And not a parent here. Nice observation on your end.A little off-topic, but something to think about, that might make the lives of parents here, and those of their children, a little easier: I stole candy one time as a kid, then lied to my dad about it. For the first time in my life, he slapped me so fast and hard across the face, that I lost my senses for a second. He then apologized for slapping me, told me he hated lying, and promised he would never do it again. He then slapped me twice as hard, and said "Now you know what it feels like to be lied to." Lying problem solved. That one act made the next ten years of my parent's lives easier, and taught me a great lesson for the rest of my life. That's a great story. Too bad if that happened today your dad probably woulda been arrested for child abuse  I don't think I've ever seen my brother or my dad cry of happiness. Only time is at funerals. Maybe my dad did when my siblings and I were born :whoknows: I don't remember the last time I cried of happiness. I don't really cry a lot. Darth Tater
I've never cried out of happiness, at least not directly. More the pent up anxiety and relief that comes with reaching or seeing another reach some important goal.
