darklight1216
For those of you who love to say that Baltimore's defense really carried the team, I would love to hear you explain why Boller wasn't able to lead the team to more AFCCGs despite having better defensive units?Flacco should get a ton of credit for being able to "manage" games and still throw for [edit]nearly[/edit] 3,000 yards in his rookie year. Thank you! Haven't I seen you somewhere before? O.o
Vicious
The anaylists on ESPN said that Flacco did not have nearly as many responsibilities as Campbell. What do they know though.
Vicious
Now somebody will actually care about my success. Coach you ****, how dare you leave me with this aging defense and stagnant offense. Haha, no Bart, I wouldn't forget you. Hey guys, I'm way better than Joe Flacco. And I thought there were a lot of gays here, I guess it is New York. Mahons21
Take us where? One wild card win in a decade? Yeah. Ok. -He only played here for a few years and ya he won us a playoff game... thats more than a certain somebody who plays for us now.
darklight1216
Vicious, I have to admit, that was pretty funny. However you forgot the part about Rex modeling his team after Baltimore. Welcome the New York Ravens (lite).
KyleVA
Lmao - Flacco had a squad - that's the only reason his team made the playoffs. He isn't that great a QB.
eagleskins
Campbell is a 4 year veteran while Flacco is a 2nd year player coming off a great rookie season in which he was 3rd rated QB in the second half of the season while Campbell degressed and stunk up the place. Why do people keep saying 4? Candle is a 5 year veteran.
eagleskins
1. Flacco- will be an absolute stud in the league for a long time. 2. Cutler- great intangibles 3. Candle- just a garbage QB.
MumboSauce
Cutler 1,2,3 Flacco played well but he wasn't asked to do much and has cam cameron. This is Campbell's last year to prove it or he's done. I hope he lights it up and it all fall in place for him. we'll see.

Yeah, I'm sure he wasn't even thinking about Flacco's year when he drafted Sanchez. I'm sure anyone would fire a guy who got to the playoffs. Oh, the horror, 11th in scorability; definetly got to get rid of that guy
RocketCitySkins
Why do people keep saying 4? Candle is a 5 year veteran. How you figure? He was drafted in April of 2005 and started his first mini-camp in May of 2005. You can't call him a 5 year veteran because he hasn't played his 5th year. He is a 4 year veteran going into his 5th year. But I do agree that is definitely long enough to show you either have what it takes to be a top level NFL quarterback or you don't. Oh, the horror, 11th in scorability; definetly got to get rid of that guy You are delusional if you think Flacco was really that special last year. He did not have a lot of responsibility. He had a run first team, he had gadget plays, he had blocking. Compared to what Matt Ryan was doing for his offense, Flacco was completely out shined. When Rex Ryan moved up to get Mark Sanchez, I'm certain he was not thinking "Flacco." Other than having the knowledge he ran run the block, block for him, and he doesn't have to delegate winning the game to a Rookie QB.

darklight1216
boards.baltimoreravens.com ? That's right. Lol I'm not the only Ravens fan here. You are delusional if you think Flacco was really that special last year. So basically Flacco had uhmm what do you call it... a team? (A team with a question mark for the position under center, but a team nonetheless) It's funny you should mention the run game and then try to say that Matt Ryan ,who had the second best running game in league, did more for his offense than Flacco. I'm sure it was really hard to beat stellar defenses like the Lions,Chiefs, and Broncos had (32nd,31st,29th), but having a running back who can get 1700 yards in one season certainly helped. FYI, Rex Ryan had a high opinion of Flacco from the beginning. http://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jets/ny-spglaub0212725258may01,0,5698241.column
PROSCOUT
Why do people keep saying 4? Candle is a 5 year veteran. If by Candle you mean Campbell, the answer is" Maybe because he has been in the NFL for FOUR years. And if you want to get techinical, his starting experience is about 2 years worth of games. If you want him to be a 5 year veteran, go take a nap and come back in EIGHT months.
PROSCOUT
Who would you rather have?Who will have a better career? Who has a better year in 2009-2010 season? This is a trick question. The first question is the trick question becaus it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Jason is a better runner and takes less chances, so he is probably a better fit for the Redskins this season. Our defense is going to be great so we don't need a QB throwing ints. Cutler is probably a better come from behind QB, which the Skins won't have to worry about much this season. Flacco...he will bomb this season and will not be mentioned in the same sentence as Cutler and Campbell. Campbell I believe will have a better career as far as accolades, because he will be in more playoff games. Jason will have a better year than Cutler for sure, because Jason is now the QB who has been in the same system Cutler is now the QB who must learn a whole new system and work with all new receivers. Jason will do well this year.....as I have said many times.
