Annonymous Source
Our biggest problem is that the talent simply isnt there across the board on the line. Samuels is a stud LT who is probowl every year, and Dockery is a solid mauler at LG. Outside of that IMO we dont really have starters at any position on the line. Randy Thomas needs to stay healthy for a year before I consider him a factor again, and people forget that the back problem he had was a potential career ender. He is a massive ?. We have enough talent to get by at RT, but it will be a position of need next year. Our Center gets beat too often by physical DT's playing the one gap. He cannot get his guy off the line of scrimmage without help, which leaves a LB free to come into the "gap"
Oldskool
That he's injury prone.......either he plays injured a lot (which of course is commendable) or he's Out, injured. Selective memory, Mick? http://www.nfl.com/players/profile?id=00-0016310 He's played in 80 of 96 games in his stint as a Skin. 13 of the 16 missed games were due to the season ending bicep tear in 2007. and as for being injury prone, he is in his 30's but still plays at a very high level in spite of injuries. You are right, but the injuries he has had have been very severe. If he manages to come back from them then I will be the first one to celebrate, but from a purely assesment standpoint the RG position is a huge ?. terpfan
RT is the only position I'm worried about IF the other 4 starters stay healthy. If one of the others gets hurt (I'm looking at you Randy) then we could have a problem.
RenegadeTK
Hopefully he'll be gone after this year, right? man... its such a catch-22. he makes a LOT of terrible decisions, but for us to get rid of him, we have to lose... so i'd much rather him learn quickly and have his "band-aid mentality" actually work for now
Renegade7
Center; We have up to four different players that on any given sunday can come in and possible start at RT (they've done it before). If Rabach goes down, they're talking about converting Jansen. My gut is telling me the Mike Williams thing is going to play out in our favor, but we've been getting pushed around in the middle for years now.
