BayouBrave86
So, I'm eligible for an UPGRADE with my phone account. I'm looking at Blackberry Curve, which I could get for free with the online discount and upgrade discount or the Blackberry Storm which would cost 99.99 with the upgrade discount. Any thoughts on what I should do? I've heard the Storm has alot of problems currently that they are trying to work out and that a new model might be coming out in the near future. Maybe I should wait? Or should I go ahead and get the Curve, I've read good things about it. Thanks for the input, I'm leaning towards the Curve currently. You want novelty or functionality. Do you need widescreen to surf web or is it a phone primarily for calls and texting. I would go curve.
TK
The Storm isn't avaible through my carrier, but I love my Curve. Bigger screen & longer battery life then the Pearl.

BayouBrave86
I check the internet constantly, updating scores and what not, but I'm also about to head into the real world, and I know the blackberry is awesome for keeping people on track. I like the touch screen aspect, but it isn't a deal-breaker or anything. I might have answered my own question in the original post seeing as how I'm leaning towards the curve and everything points towards bad regarding the Storm. I'm big on just keeping my life in order and checking sports scores with relative ease. Plus, I'd somehow be getting it for free, which is killer. Special K
I have the storm, it's ok. It's supposedly like the iPhone or whatever and I got it because I had a free upgrade, but I don't think I'll ever get a touch screen again. Texting is really annoying on a touchscreen. da#1skinsfan
The storm sucks man....go with the curve, no doubt. Dont be tempted by the touchscreen fad, its slow, unresponsive...nowhere near the slickness of an iphone.
Destino
I'm familiar with both and the answer is without question the CURVE. The Storm is terrible IMO. Also as an iphone let me tell you that a real touchscreen like the Iphone has is the superior to buttons. The storm doesn't have a touch screen however, it has a "click screen" which is code for "we needed something to compete even though we aren't ready to do so". buenosdiaz
my ex had the storm i was never really impressed with it it seems like the blackberry that rich teenagers would get (that for some dumb reason just wouldnt get an iphone) if you're gonna go blackberry get a blackberry not some iphone knock off with that said iphones are much more fun but not everybody needs a "fun" phone
