HighOnHendrix
Colt is 6'2. When did he become to short to play QB in the NFL considering Michael Vick is 6 foot. Jeff Garcia is 6'1 on a good day. And HOF Steve Young was 6'2...Bret Favre is 6'2...When did 6'2 become too short in the NFL? Please explain who has said this. I think ever since Brady and Roethlisberger started winning Super Bowls people have equated height with QB success. Height is yet another minor factor that gets magnified beyond all reason on a regular basis, a la 40 times. :2cents:
HawaiianTime
I don't even have a camera or I would. There will be a good recap though. Hopefully. Damn, I'll get you a cheapy digital if need be. BAFGA
i've been jaded by all the Colt-lovers on this board.... but i cant deny that that kid has some x-factor. if he can continue developing, it will be interesting to see what happens. I couldn't agree with you more. Way too much man love over a 6th round 3rd string QB. Did Gus get this much love when he was drafted? I doubt it. DGREENHULK
Do we have any updates on Colt Brennan's arm strength and throwing motion? Yup still rated JV but with hopes of making the Varsity team this year.

darklight1216
I've grown somewhat cynical toward Colt because of all of the obsession over him, but he's got to have a better chance than someone who was undrafted.
HawaiianTime
I've grown somewhat cynical toward Colt because of all of the obsession over him, but he's got to have a better chance than someone who was undrafted. Just check him out on YT. I believe there are more vids of him than Campbell. Watch enough and you to will believe. Take note of the many different games that the shots are from, not the same game recycled. A good one to watch is the Washington game were he throws for 3 TDs in 10 minutes. All fun to watch. Xero21
This may seem ignorant but, I know we signed him and that he has a Twitter, but WHO is Chase Daniel? Did he even do anything worth noting in college? And does anyone honestly think he would beat Colt Brennan out for a roster spot? If so, I must have honestly missed something with Daniel. CHAMBURGER
He was a Heisman trophy finalist along with Colt as a Junior in 2007, I belive, and I think he had a really solid college career.
skinzWILL
here look Chases stats... http://espndb.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=177296 this guys stats from his senior year are crazy similar http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=145275 I would love to see JC, Colt and Chase make the team, im just as uncomfortable not having a vet back up BUT ... Chase would get picked up off the PS so quickly. Collins probably wouldnt get picked up and could be re-signed if there is an injury, and we are still in the hunt, but then we have to give one of the young guys a shot first. If were out of it and either JC is injured or doing poorly we need to start find the next guy. We should probably figure out if it could be one of the two "ALL WORLD" college QBs we have on our roster, that no one else REALLY wanted. I vote Chase just bc ive seen him play more than Colt, and he did it in the BIG 12 (biased). I also noticed the way Zorn kinda started beaming when talking about Daniels, never saw him do that talking about Colt. Im still pulling hard for JC. But I want to be prepared if he doesnt come through.

veteranskinsfan
I watched Colt play an overtime game in college. He should be named the "Comeback Kid". Hold has some of the intangibles that you want in a quarterback. He has leadership skills in the huddle, he never quits on any play, and he can scramble to get out of trouble when he needs to keep searching for a receiver. The Skins will look foolish in the next few years if they don't let Colt prove that he can be a proven Q-b in this league. Some of these qualities you can't "teach" in a player. If Jason is to be successful this year, he will need to be able to scramble to avoid the rush, show leadership in the huddle, and make 3rd down conversions. If he does not do this, he will be toast by the end of the season.

Voice_of_Reason
Thanks, it helps to know who will be watching training camp. I'll know who to look for to catch updates from a personal view. It would be great if a thread was started where people that watch training camp can post their personal views of what they saw without negative comments from anyone. Just a place where we can get a more personal read/pictures of training camp. HawaiinTimes, One way or another, that thread is going to exist. I am planning on going to all of the practices I can, which might be all of them. And I plan on writing a post about as much as I can every night somewhere. What I'm not going to do is take notes while I'm there, because that would be even too dorky for me. So it will be by memory, but the day of. If there isn't a "What I saw at Camp" thread, I'll start one.
