Jonathan
Colt Brennan has tremendous talent and leadership ability I believe. The Redskins would do very well to stop trying to acquire players like Cutler or Sanchez and open the competition for starting quarterback. If they had done that at the beginning of last year, instead of making clear that Campbell was the inevitable starter, it could have been that Todd Collins would have won. By now Colt Brennan would be the backup, and Campbell would be I believe third string. This season, Brennan could have made a real run at the starter's job, and if he didn't beat out Collins would probably do so by next season or sometime during this season. It's not about INSTALLING starters, it's about LETTING THE BEST PLAYER win the job. As far as Chase Daniel is concerned, let him compete too. modazfuk
Thanks, it helps to know who will be watching training camp. I'll know who to look for to catch updates from a personal view. You would trust this guy? LMAO:hysterical:

HawaiianTime
You would trust this guy? LMAO:hysterical: I know, but a few more of these, "As most of you know, I'm not much of a Colt Brennan guy but I have to say that I was impressed during seven-on-seven and 11-on-11 drills. He fired a few intermediate passes over the middle with great accuracy and authority and showed good touch on deep passes. I'm not ready to anoint him as a future star or anything but after today I'll be a lot less surprised if it does happen." Rich Tandler http://realredskins.com/2009/05/minicamp-quick-hits.html I know we will see more converts.

Kunia5
You don't love him anymore? How very sad. I thought you were a devoted fan. It was so out of the blue! And you sound like someone who doesn't get sarcasm much?Still, personally, I'm not a huge Colt fan anymore, I could careless what he does.

PROSCOUT
Watch the "Brennan is too short" group now say that height doesn't matter - look at Drew Brees:D Colt is 6'2. When did he become to short to play QB in the NFL considering Michael Vick is 6 foot. Jeff Garcia is 6'1 on a good day. And HOF Steve Young was 6'2...Bret Favre is 6'2... When did 6'2 become too short in the NFL? Please explain who has said this.
Kunia5
I think ever since Brady and Roethlisberger started winning Super Bowls people have equated height with QB success.
KokoMike
Speaking of height, Colt is competing for the number 2 spot. Daniel needs to hope that Brennan succeeds, so he can move into the number 3 spot. As soon as Brennan is # 2, he'll continue working hard to be ready for game action in the regular season. If the Skins are lucky, he will push Campbell. That would be good for Campbell, also. This thread should be called "Collins or Daniel."

MarkRascadizzle
hard to know seeing as Daniel has never stepped on a NFL field before..... Yeah and tomorrow hasn't happened yet, but we still can predict the weather.
skinsince72
I think we will be better able to say after the 3rd pre season game. Colt looked pretty darn good last year and now he's in his second year of the system. It may get very interesting around here in August.
CRobi21
Thanks, it helps to know who will be watching training camp. I'll know who to look for to catch updates from a personal view. It would be great if a thread was started where people that watch training camp can post their personal views of what they saw without negative comments from anyone. Just a place where we can get a more personal read/pictures of training camp. Yo, I got you son.... Chea chea.
HawaiianTime
Yo, I got you son....Chea chea. That's right, How Could I Forget, you practically lived there last year. Good, pics would be nice too. I'd provide the cold frosty beverages, but that'll have to wait for either me moving there, or you coming to visit. Oh, I'll throw in a burger and dog every now and then as well. Koolblue13
Yeah, I remember the NFL saying we needed two roster spots for him if we wanted to keep him. I heard he was going to start his own league called simply called "too awesome for mortal eyes to view football league" and the only other person who would play was chuck norris and a random ninja, but every time they tried to televise it, TVs across the nation began to explode, so now they play on a very isolated island in the south pacific, to crowded stands full of a rare breed of monkey nobody has ever seen. CM916
If you go by the dodge ball drill, the current rankings are: 1. Campbell (untouched) 2. Colt 3. Ganz? (5th guy) 4. Chase 5. Collins (can't dodge a thing)
