spyder7
The following is a link to the best 'Skins draft report card I have found thus far on the web. Includes grades for each individual pick as well as an overall analysis of the 2009 draft for the 'Skins. Check it out and lemme know what you think! Enjoy. http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/379657-redskins-report-card-09-draft P.S. -- why is it that the guys over at WaPo, the supposed 'redskins insiders' haven't done anything similar? spyder7
nice to hear the experts actually praising the 'Skins draft picks for once. was starting to forget what it feels like after last years debacle.
Vicious
The 'Skins FO failed to draft a single O-lineman, and such neglect is unacceptable considering the 'Skins had one of the poorest O-lines in the NFL last year. But what do they know, our Oline as someone in the other thread said, one of the best in the league if healthy.. right.
Quincy
Vinny's no drafting linemen philosophy is really a puzzler.
spyder7
Embarrassing really, considering who we are up against in the NFC East: the Giants have the best D-line in the league, the Cowboys LBs are giants, and the Eagles' Jim Johnson is one of the most blitz-happy DCs in the NFL. Annonymous Source
Barnes is an Ideal fit for Nickelback in the slot because he has good run support instincts and he keeps his eyes in the backfield. His coverage will end up needing polishing if he is to become an every day starter. I hope they dont get rid of Carlos Rogers, the guy has stone hands but he was a lockdown CB last year. There were some games that he essentially took away the other teams best target. He reminds me of Champ Bailey but without the ability to capitalize on opponents mistakes. I know that I will get my head bitten off for that statement...
Peregrine
Best report card, or most positive?
spyder7
It is positive but not overly so. B- overall is fair, but only when factoring in no 2nd or 4th rounders. Taking Glenn wasn't the greatest idea, but Marko is intriguing.
