timdaley73
The fact that you believe 1-1-2 is relatively successful and should be the model to follow is a joke. You want to bring up probably JC's worst game ever as a QB and wonder why we didn't beat a 1 win team? And if they are so sucky why did they beat us? But then again, you don't want to talk about the QB in this thread. However, you want to talk about sucky. So, why don't we begin with sucky thread topics, a subject you are well versed in. My sentiments exactly... and for those of you who said I was being a dick or uptight, the original post by this guy stated that the Bengals had beaten 3 of 4 NFC East teams... So, DO RESEARCH BEFORE YOU POST OR OPEN THREADS!!

One loss in the last seconds of the fourth quarter. That's pretty competitive. That's pretty successful. And no, I didn't say that you couldn't talk about the QB in this thread. Rather, I said that there ought to be room on this board for threads that aren't strictly about Campbell. Sheesh.

jthor99
How about any team can win on any given Sunday? There isn't a single team as a fan that I take for granted throughout the entire season. I get just as nervous facing the Lions as I do when they play the Cowboys. Any given Sunday my friend..any given Sunday

mnb123
Palmer, when healthy, is extremely underrated. For some unknown reason (besides the gagillion dollars they offered him), he's basically signed to the Bungals for life. If he went to any other team that had a good structure and support around him, he'd be hoisting at least one Lombardi by now. Rotoworld: 12/29/2005: Signed a six-year, $118.75 million contract extension through 2014. The deal included a $15 million signing bonus and a third year option bonus of $9 million. 2009: $9.5 million, 2010: $10.5 million, 2011-2012: $11.5 million, 2013: $13 million, 2014: $14 million, 2015: Free AgentI dont think you will see him complaining. Why can't this board go back to having well thought out, civilized football conversations instead of OP's getting blasted by the thread Nazi's or random posters calling out the smallest mistake with asinine comments like the ones above. Oldskool
Rotoworld:I dont think you will see him complaining. Like I said, he extended his contract for 1.5 gagillion dollars. He's set for life. Too bad he won't ever touch a Lombardi or win more than 9 games in a season again.
Kunia5
It is painful to think about. The Bengals had the air of incompetence about them for the first three quarters. But we managed to make their backup QB Fitzpatrick look like Joe Montana. The energy level approached negative BTUs, particularly in Washington's farcical attempt to run it into the end zone to win the game. Betts sticking the ball, and getting stripped. At that point, the wisdom of hiring Zorn, and starting QB Campbell, were never in greater doubt.
DTK
IMHO, it has to do with Mike Zimmer being the Bengals DC. He was the Cowboys DC for years so he was very familiar with the players and schemes of the Beast.
redskins55
Not much to learn really.. We were 3-3 against them and the bengals were 1-2-1 against them. Somethings cant be analyzed.. just coencidence

SirClintonPortis
timdaley never watched the games. They gave the Cowboys a run for their money when they were still 'hot', even though the loss to the 'Skins sent them 'Boys reeling a bit.
