IbleedBnG83
This per Rotoworld... http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpage/player_main.aspx?sport=NFL&id=5163 "ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reports that the Eagles are intent on drafting Georgia RB Knowshon Moreno are are willing to trade up to get him. Teams ahead of Philly at No. 21 who might snatch Moreno include New Orleans (No. 14), Houston (15), San Diego (16), the Jets (17), and the Lions (20). The Eagles have ammo to move up, even after the Jason Peters deal." ____________________________________ Trading among divisions isn't common, but if the Eagles do have heavy interest in Moreno, the Redskins would be the best team to trade with to get in position. Moreno isn't expected to go anywhere above 13, and with a handful of teams that could be landing spots for Moreno immediately following the Redskins #13 pick, it would be a great place for the Eagles to trade with. Trading down into the 21st spot would be ideal as it would allow for the Redskins to acquire additional picks and fill all their needs. Lets hope Sanchez is off the board!!!!!!!!! acuratl1984
WOW, this would make the Eagles almost LETHAL.... I was talking to an Eagle fan a month ago, and I was telling him how Moreno would be a great pick for the Eagles, and would team up great with Westbrook. Westbrook36
The Eagles aren't trading up for Moreno. When was the last time anyone had any idea what they were going to do in a draft? They leaked this info to SalPal for a reason. The same SalPal who definitively said that McNabb will not be the QB in 2008.

IF this was true. and the Eagles offered #21 + a 2nd rounder for our 13th pick. And Orakpo was available.... what do we do??

I've seen "highlights" of Orakpo + Brown and they all look good. If I had a choice my draft would be. Trade down. skinzfan72
Mark my words. All the smoke screens on Dirty Sanchez and Orokpo and OL, we will be getting CP's future replacement and meantime short yardage back. 26 has been been getting beatup and knicked last couple years. Not to mention all the O2 he was sucking up on the sidelines last year. Don't get me wrong, CP still has more game than alot of DB's want to confront. We brought in all these backs the last couple years for "insurance" and they amounted to nothing, and we still have no "insurance". To have a LEGIT 1-2 punch at RB would do alot for us. C'mon guys open your eyes. Everyone in the nfce has had the legit 1-2 combo or still has BUT US!!! CP actually leaked it in his interview not too long ago!!! If you actually look at the "depth" in our team "needs" it really isn't that bad. DE how many more do we need this year? OL JJ still has gas in his tank and the depth is ok. SAM Blades and Thomas should do ok maybe a lil help from the safties here n there NON DEPTH positions K & P both **** but are not a 13th pick. RB we got CP Moreno would be an AWESOME 13th pick for this team THIS year. OK now you guys can light me up, I'll see ya SAT SMILLIN:D

dswerdlw
I can see this happening. Washington trades picks 13 and 80 (1340 trade value) for Philly's 21, 53 and 85 (1335 trade value). Without relying too much on luck, our draft could go as follows: 1. Eben Britton 2. Jarron Gilbert (might have to settle for Paul Kruger here) 3. Jason Williams (I'd probably take McKenzie if he were available) 5. Scott McKillop 6. Greg Toler 7. Rey Feinga I'd be happy enough. Well, I'd be darn happy that we didn't put all our chips on Sanchez.
DCDiesel44
This would be absolutely amazing if it actually happened. We'd be able to address our needs at OT, DE, and OLB in the first three rounds. If Snyderrato had any functioning brains, they would be doing everything they can to get something like this done. The thought of getting Britton, Sintim/Freeman, and/or Sidbury is amazing. Draft a center or guard in the later rounds and this would be one hell of a draft.
