I didnt catch the full hour long program but they just had a good 5 min piece on Sanchez. Don't really feel like recapping the entire segment but mainly said that when you watch the tape everything you see looks like it could transfer to success in the NFL. Can Make any of the throws needed on an NFL level. Several NFL teams including Seattle said that they would prefer to draft Sanchez even if Stafford was available.

They asked Mel What's the big difference from J. Campbell and M. Sanchez ? He said that from day 1 he already has so many of the intangibles you want in a franchise qb. His ability to put a team on his shoulders and to lead both vocally and by example are things that if J. Campbell had we wouldnt even be having this conversation.

So if we do get MS does that mean JC starts this season and waits for Sanchez to take his job. You know MS will be making more money then JC. I know JC has said all the right things. But you have to know that even JC can only take so much of this crap. This could get real ugly. We can't trade JC know one wants him. So these guys have to be in the same locker room!!

Brunell was making more than both of our QB's combined as a #3....

I think JC might. Its not just the money, Its what they have said to him. Like (Zorn) we have your back. Your our man. You have to remember they have a lot of time together stating at the wedding last year, So you have to know somebody cares,

Maybe because Brunell has been to an AFC championship game, lead our team to the playoffs, and had a career that both of our QB's pray they have?

Any tape of this? I would LOVE to see Mel say that about Jason.

They've been talking up Mark Sanchez since around 230 300, and have spent maybe 3 or 4 segments each hour on the guy. I tell you what I got from their expose's on him.

He's got IT. He has Star Quality, his personable, he's likable, and he's very competitive. Some of the guys think that a deal for the skins to get Sanchez likely results in JC starting the season, and that could be a good thing.

Some good stuff. Kiper doesn't seem to like the guy though, so I dunno.

BINGO. Mark Brunell in 2005 is better than Campbell will ever be IMO. Brunell led us to comebacks and was GREAT that year. You think Campbell is going to lead a 4th quarter drive in Denver in the rain like Brunell did to potentially tie the game (unfortunetly the Denver D made a play on the 2 point conversion). Brunell was great that year and gets no love around here. Honestly, is Campbell ever going to be that accurate a passer? It was Brunell's 1st year in a news system too, and it didn't matter.

You mean like the comebacks against the Saints, Rams and 49ers last year? Of course the defense pissed away two of them in the final 2 minutes but which other games are you looking for?

LOL, I was about to say. Campbell has won games for us in the 4th a few times.

I am not a Campbell hater. I was just pointing out why he was paid what he was paid.

I've been as big a supporter as any here for drafting o-line, but really, Sanchez impresses me the more and more i read/hear of him.

literally the only flaw he has is that there isn't as much game tape as they'd like and i suppose another is that he doesn't have elite arm strength
