Destructis
I am a Skins fan. I will be a Skins fan until they put me six feet under. We all have teams that sorta follow other than the Skins. Another team that is holding my interest this year is the KC Chiefs. I really like Haley and what he is trying to do there. He seems to be one of those coaches who can be in your face when he needs to be. I don't think he over does it either. It's just impressions on my side and things I have seen in the past from him. He gave TO what for a few years back and didn't back down at all from Boldin last year. As long as they aren't playing the Skins, I will be rooting for them this year. So what other team has your interest this year and why?
RWJ
Other than the Skins, I really have no other interest in watching another team EXCEPT any team that beats the NFC East teams when they make the playoffs or when our Skins are fighting for a wildcard or the NFC East crown. I will say that when we don't make the playoffs I root for a cinderella team to win it all.
Fan since a Fetus
Other than the Skins, I agree that the NFC East gets most of my attention. I try to keep track of those teams as much as possible. One division that I have been interested in the last couple years is the AFC South. That has been one tough division. Can the Colts hang on now that Dungy is gone? I think they can because of Moore and Manning. How will the Titans D be without Haynesworth? Will Finnegan be as good? Does Collins have enough of an arm to last another season as the starter? How good is the Hamburglar (lendale white) going to be in a contract year? Will he be a top rusher or eat his way out of town? Will Del Rio get the Jags back on track? Who is catching the ball down there? Can they fix that D? I think they lost a lot when they lost Marcus Stroud and it seemed to me that Williams was the fall guy. This team always plays the Colts the toughest, but never seems to beat them. To me, the most interesting of the bunch is the Texans. If they get that D going they could be dangerous. They must get more solid play from Amobi. They also need a big back to help Slaton with the load. They need a better running game in the Red Zone. If Schaub goes down again, can Orlovsky save the day? Is he a capable backup like Rosenfels. Of course, there is more questions then this, but I don't feel like typing anymore. Man, I cannot wait until football season. Thankfully the Caps are in the playoffs, so I don't go to insane.
Pimpey42000
Well, I would say the Texans, Slaton is very interesting and they seem to be a modest favorite in the AFC South every year. I think we play the Chiefs this year Destructis so better get your cheering cap ready.
wvtbred
I will watch almost any NFL game but other the the Skins which BTW I bleed B&G and have for over 40 years I do follow the Chiefs. Have since I was a kid and before cable you would watch whatever was on. As they say back in the day the AFL's biggest rivalry was the Chiefs and Raiders. Maybe I am a Chiefs fan because of the little bit of Indian blood I carry. Maybe because the colors are similar to my beloved Skins and it was the next best thing to watching them. Either way I have followed them for years and remember playing football with the other guys in the neighborhood pretending to be Len Dawson. Also still love seeing those clips of Hank Stram yelling on the sidelines.
chipwhich
There are a lot of closet ratbird fans in Redskins nation. I remember sitting in FedEx, I think it was the year when the Ravens went to the Superbowl. They were showing scores, and the Ratbirds had won, or were winning their game. A HIGH percentage of the stadium applauded. I was disgusted.
ABSTRACT
I follow every team just for my love of football. I passionately root for the skins...maybe 2 much sometimes because people think I am crazy. I usually like underdogs to come up because they remind me of us. I rooted for the Cardinals last year and yes....I was very pissed that the steelers won. I am going to look out for teams like vikings, texans, chiefs, jets, etc. I wanna see the playoffs filled with teams like redskins and other underdogs. That would be nice to watch. ABSTRACT
I will keep a very close eye on the patriots because of all of their offseason moves. They will be so freaking scary this year it is not funny. I also keep a VERY close eye on our division rivals out of anything. I consider they're loss our win. So yeah, you have to watch and analyze all football teams and games if u expect skins to win it all.
NoVaSkins21
I like to see how the other NFC East teams are doing because it affects the Skins in the standings. I hate the media slobbering over the Cowboys, but love it when when they're criticized to death when they're losing or have lost in the playoffs. Thinking Skins
See, I used to feel this way. Buy as Snyder destroys my favorite team, I am becoming a bigger fan of just watching the game of football and watching this game played well. So I'm starting to like watching the Steelers and the Ravens. I take particular interest in the Ravens because they're a local team and I get 1370 where I live and so I get a lot of Ravens insight. I wouldn't say I'm a fan of either of these teams, but I do like watching good football.
Bliz
Sunday Ticket...love watching quality games and try to follow as much as possible. Aside from the Skins, having lived in Atl for 13 years now, I was glad to see the Falcons turn the franchise around after the Vick fiasco. As long as what they're doing in no way harms the 'Skins, I like to see them do well, but I wouldn't say I "follow" the Falcons.
eljeasel
I have no other team in the race other than the skins. I might follow players, coaches, or even defenses or offense, even a particular GM. But no other team. Im growing to appreciate the game itself more, but other than football with playoff and championship impact, I dont really watch the NFL. wysknz1
Funny as it may seem. I despise the broncos but I watch them a lot. Mostly because they are always on in this area. 2ndly because I want to see them lose. So I watch.
88Comrade2000
I follow the Skins and that is it. I'll look at races in the other divisions and since I am in Ohio may check on what the Ohio teams maybe doing but I only follow the Skins. I tried following 2 teams once and you can't do it. BigMike619
I watch every team in every sport honestly just to keep track. I wanna know if LJ on the Chiefs implodes or if he gets healthy again. Is Garcia going to take over in Jokeland? How is Brady going to do this year after that knee injury? Will Fast Willie Parker have a good year or a super bowl hangover? my girl hates that im so obsessed with bootfall...
HA1LV1CT0RY
I'm only interested in seeing the Skins win and the NFC East and the Patriots lose. This sums it all up. We can close the thread now.

CrypticVillain
The Texans. When they beat the Cowboys in their first game they took a piece of my heart. And on top of that, they are the only team that hasn't beat the Redskins.
IbleedBnG83
Nothing can compare to how close I follow the Redskins. I know all the players from pro-bowlers to yearly camp fodders. I follow the NFL as a whole pretty closely, particularly the NFC East.
LadySkinsFan
Redskins fan since 1963. I've also lived in Miami so I follow the Dolphins too. Was a real depressing week a few years ago when the Redskins lost to the Bucs in Tampa and then in the afternoon Miami lost to someone with the game played in Miami. My 2 favorite teams lost on the same day in Florida. Glad of Miami's success last year, and I like Pennington as QB so glad he did well there. Going Commando
I'll watch anyone who's good in college, but I tend to pull for the Virginia schools. But their isn't a pro franchise that I really care about beyond the Redskins. Although in Madden I used to play with Atlanta a lot because Michael Vick was the cheapest player in the game. I have a sentimental childhood attachment to the Cleveland Indians because I pulled for them back in the mid 90's when I was a child. All of my favorite players from that era were on that team: Sandy Alomar Jr., Jim Thome, Manny Ramirez, Kenny Lofton, Omar Vizquel, Albert Bell, Roberto Alomar, David Justice, Chuck Nagy. Man those were some good teams. It was before Washington got a baseball team, and I never felt a connection to the Orioles. Its the same story with the Pittsburgh Penguins because Mario Lemieux was my childhood hero. I disliked the Capitals because they signed Jaromir Jagr away. But now I don't really like the Penguins at all outside of Malkin, mainly because I can't stand Sydney Crosby. Staal seems alright too, but I can't keep track of which one of those Arian poster-childs is which. I'm coming around to the Capitals because Ovechkin is such a phenomenal player and cool guy, it's hard not to be a fan. In other sports I tend to be a fan of players rather than teams. The Redskins are the only franchise that I have a deep connection to.

terpskins10
I've always been a big 'Skins fan, but my best bud that really got me hardcore into football is a big Packers fan so I definitely root for them whenever their winning doesn't affect the 'Skins.
