You'd do that for me?

Well, if its on the way, could you stop by 5 guys and get me a Bacon Cheeseburger and fries? Hope its not too much trouble.

No problem at all. And if you conjure up anymore breaking opinions, please make sure to get them on the record. We will wire the news services all over the country to spread the word.

ARE returned 39 punts Moss 3 or 4

let's say, 40 Punt Returns, at 15.3 avg = 612 yards

more than double ARE's production every year as a Skin

3 return TD to ARE 1 TD in the same 3 year span.

But you know the Redskins legacy, we get good players from other teams who come here and perform mediocre. Remember what ARE was putting up in Pitt before he came here? He was putting up similar numbers. We traded for him when he was 25 or 26 and his production dropped almost immediately.

I'd rather try out guys like Aldridge and Dover, as well as Rock. All are much cheaper, so if they don't work out we can just get rid of them. But it leaves the spot as a competition, instead of a guy inheriting it because he's the guy we traded for and the guy who's uncuttable.

I'd rather roll the dice and try to find another Horton with a late pick. Parish is on the downturn.

You know how one of the reasons Miami let JT go was because him playing meant their younger guys wouldn't get the chances to develop? It is time for Thomas and Kelly to get on the field as much as possible.

No new WRs that aren't named Anquan Boldin.

you mean like Moss, Portis, Marcus Washington, Andre Carter, Pete Kendall, Jason Fabini, Shawn Springs

or old guys like Riggins, Sonny, Sam Huff, Joe Washington, Chuck Parde, Diron Talbort, Ken Houston, Bobby Mitchell, Doug Willams, Jim Lachey, Ernest Byner, Kilmer

BTW, ARE's receiving numbers increased as a Redskin

I would do the trade immediately if it's only for a 5th rounder...i would even throw in a late round pick for next year too...

Randel el and thrash's days are numbered here...Kelly is thrash's replacement and Roscoe can replace randle el. as slot/return man

or a OL like Molinaro,

A LB like Dallas Sartz,

A QB like Palmer, Jordan not Carson

5th round picks are still valuable. Plenty of solid players like Dawan Landry and our own Anthony Montgomery come out of the 5th round. Also since 2003, several pro-bowlers have as well like Robert Mathis, Michael Turner, Dan Koppen, and Trent Cole. It's definitely possible to grab excellent, small school prospects at certain positions in the 5th.

Losing ours would leave us with four picks, two of which are in the 6th and 7th. Honestly is parrish that great of a return man? He's got 3 career tds which is nice, but he doesn't really give us much in the passing game, definitely not more than Randle El does. And if we are hurting for a punt returner, we could draft a younger one with that 5th rounder anyway. A lot of people like Devin Moore.

yeah all 5th rounders turn into stars,

if punt returners were so easy to find why haven't we had a great one since BMitch?

Parrish has been a top PR (#6 last year, #1 in 07) and avg.'s over double what ARE has had in 3 years.

a 5th rounder for a "proven" position of need, in his prime, or roll the dice on a maybe...

hmmmmmm

hes from the U...gotta love that. I wouldnt mind pickin him up for a 5th. chances of a 5th round pick contributing anything this season are slim to none. we wont land another horton this year and we could definitely use a better punt returner...hes alot better than antwaan who runs in cirlces everytime.

If we could trade down with the Bills and get a 5th or 6th rounder from them along with Parrish.... That would show that Vinny is really good. Moving down 10 slots at that point would probably get a first and 4th or 5th That would allow us to take Laurinitis and get OL help with our next pick and get a 4thWR/PR and having an extra pick always helps. We need picks. ARE will be a June 1 or later cut, possibly TC cut....since 2010 will be a capfree year we wont have to worry about the cap hit.

Although the trade is equitable, I'm more inclined to give Dorsey a shot and keep the pick. There's good players to be had for value IMO. I personally would want the ammo to move up into the fourth for players like FS Robert Bruton, OT Jason Watkins, DE's Kyle Moore and Henry Melton, or CB Coye Francies.

I am solid against this trade no matter what. We can draft someone to return kicks we don't need to give a pick for him, and he is NOT that good. only a 15 yard per return average? That's not so great.

 no just tops in the NFL last year, #6 this past year

that really stinks for the ol' so valuable 5th rounder.....

every one knows, very good punt returner just fall from trees

I'm on the Dorsey bandwagon. He's a year younger and getting paid considerably less money and I THINK has what it takes to be a valuable PR/KR. JMO.

I agree. We signed him to a pretty decent contract too if memory serves like we did Chris Wilson. We signed him for a reason - he's a record setting kick return specialist. Now give him a shot and see what he can do.
