moondog
he's a speedster, and a PUNT RETURNER That does make him an ideal fit. But we already picked up guys that are his size/speed and we don't need him at receiver so we might as well keep our draft pick.
NoVaSkins21
Oh but of course, the Skins are the perfect fit for every cast off, free agent, and player desiring to be traded. ideal because everyone gets paid LOL Exactly. The player may not be fit chemistry wise, but the Skins will take him just because he's a big name.

SkinsMaster88
Do people not know we picked this guy up: Dominque Dorsey was the CFL special teams player of the year. "Toronto Argonaut returner Dominque Dorsey, who had a CFL-leading 2,892 all-purpose yards to capture the league's top special-teams player honour despite missing Toronto's final five regular-season games." Also found this bit of info: "Dorsey, also the Argo nominee for special teams a year ago, at least gets into the Argo record book for most kickoff return yards in both a single season and game. Dorsey's numbers there were 1,257 and, against the Alouettes, Sept. 7, 225. The holder of both records (set in 1992), had been Rocket Ismail at 1,139 and 224." http://www.thestar.com/Sports/Football/article/526521

Campbell's_da_man
He would be a good kick returner, but not only that, he would also be a decent deep threat with his speed. He's worth a 5th rounder for insurance, especially if Thomas and Kelly don't produce..
AKM311
LOL, plus a $3M cap hit? No thanks.
darrelgreenie
For a 5th round, that is really low, and why are the Skins the ideal fit??? Because we love to give up draft picks and... What bothers me though is that we signed the guy from Canada and he hasn't been given a chance yet. But, this is what we do... There are a bunch of players we've drafted that never got or will get an opportunity. Why not give the players on this team a chance to return punts? There are 4 that want to: Rock Cartwright, DeAngelo Hall, J.T. Tryon, Santana Moss And there is Devin Thomas who i think could be a great punt returner if given a chance to return punts. I hope we keep our 5th round draft pick.
bubba9497
5th round pick = MontgomeryRoscoe = Randle El or Dante Hall in 3 years. Parrish has been more productive for Buffalo than Montgomery so far (and how many 5th rounders don't make the cut?) 3 years of 15+ ypr avg., and a ST touchdown a year, plus 20-35 catches, for a 5th? a no brain'er imo

RWJ
We have Dorsey. I don't understand why we want to sign Parrish. He's a U guy. Maybe Clinton has been whispering in Snyder's ear.
alwaysaskin
While Parrish is an upgrade over dances with Special Teams Randle El, I don't think he is worth a pick, let one of our signees compete for the PR position

CFL doesn't exacty equal NFL results besides it's only a rumor at this point, but a 5th for a quality returner is a good value trade to me

All I am saying is those are your expectations. Sometimes they don't get met and these are the type of trades that do that. One your next post about the "re-do contract" thing. Your saying we sign him to an even larger contract so he becomes untradeable in 3 years when his production drops. He will require a $5-8M SB. He is not worth a pick because we can try and develop another person for a 1/5th of his salary.
Thinking Skins
Just to be on record. I'm not in favor of this move. I like Aldridge, Rock and Dorsey. If we draft or sign another UDFA, then cool. But I'm not for bringing in Parish.
