Sanchez, Toler On Redskins’ Radar

With more and more of these articles popping up, they're has to be some actual interest by the skins. Also apparently were targeting a CB with our 3rd rounder. I thought we had plenty of CBs. I guess our team looks at obvious needs and then does the exact opposite.

Maybe the team knows better then we do. Also maybe they see that while the oline had issues last year much of it was Jason's fault and we really don't need a 1st or 3rd rounder for the oline. Replacing Jason could instantly improve the oline play.

That's why we have put together so many winning seasons, because the front office knows better. I'm starting to believe they don't have a clue what they're doing. Not saying I know better, but damn, look at our past history.

Oh I know it but IMO Jason was a big mistake and they are wasting the careers of play makers waiting for him.

Yeah guys, cuz PFT and JLC have proven to be such reliable sources, lol. They're wrong at every turn, so why people take stock in what they say still is beyond me.

We all hoped we would draft WR last year. All the reports were suggesting Kelly or Sweed, and in the late 1st. Instead, it turns out Devin Thomas was our 1st target at WR, and no WRs were taken in the 1st. FWIW.

JLC had the Cutler thing going, Haynsworth, heck I remember during one draft he called Blades to be one of their late draft picks, and it happened. I am trying to recall which draft JLC had the first pick scoped out totally wrong?

So don't get the JLC wrong at every turn drill, clearly he has some source on the team that ain't that bad. Not saying that he's always right but clearly he's not always wrong.

And generally where there is smoke there is fire with this team. Lots of people here didn't believe they'd sign Haynsworth regardless of the rumors, and it happened. Cutler thing seemed far fetched to mnay at first then we found out it was true. Chad Johnson trade rumors, according to the Bengals the Skins did make trade overtures that year, etc.

Heck when Jason Campbell or a QB wasn't on our radar screen before the 05 draft, back when we thought Ramsey was the QB of the future -- that got leaked in advance, and it happened. We read about how they were working out Kelly a lot before the draft, I could go on. But yeah often there is some truth to rumors with this team especially when you start seeing it in multiple places.

As for Sanchez, that's who Kiper thinks the team is going to pick. We know the team looked at him. Now JLC thinks there is a decent chance of it. Does that all add up to me as no way its happening. Nope. If this keeps going on, am banking on them trying to make this happen.

Great post! Some are true, some aren't. Thats why it is reported as rumors/sources.

Bottom line is, if you don't want to believe it, don't bash the sources. Just admit you don't want to believe it.

No, I'm saying this because it's being reporting by multiple sources: PFT, JLC, ESPN. Like someone else said, where there's smoke there's usually fire and it's completely true with this team.

PFT was right on the fact we were involved with the Cutler trade until the last minute.

Why is it that Redskins have the weakest security in the league? Everyone always seems to find out what their plans are days or even weeks prior to the event.

Excellent observation wvtbred ... Skins could have done so many things lately to support Jason ... even a little bit. The thundering silence and counter-leaks have completely undermined his future on the team.

Thanks and I can't help but keep going back to the -07 season (I know different O) and when Todd came in there from the very first snap it was a different team. Night and day, the guys were flying around and looked energized. I think a lot of that is because of Jason. Will they say that? Hell no because it's a TEAM but I know a couple feel that way and that is ALL I AM GOING TO SAY.

Regarding this guy, Toler...uh who the heck is he? I have 3 draft magazines to pour though and only one even mentions his name...and that publication has him likely going undrafted. This doesn't sound like a decent replacement for Rogers at all.

I've never heard of him either and he's not on any of the draft sites that I know of. Still wouldn't surprise me if this FO did something like that.
