Gracelander
I usually think personalized plates are great & creative. I think people who can't get an avatar to work are douchebags.

SteveFromYellowstone
I think it depends on what it says. "JOESCAR" sounds really douchey, but some of the witty ones I've seen like this are awesome haha.
DButz65
I think people who like hockey are douchebags:silly: :finger: On guard! :saber: edit" to stay on topic, i used to have plates that read "SKIN EM" in VA, before the Skins tags came out and then i moved to md

RedskinFeathers
I don't think people with personalized tags are douchebags...I love seeing personal tags that are funny. I saw a NY tag with a Canada frame and the plate said: hcky eh Got a kick outta that...some are quite witty.

JeffSchmeff
I think VA has the most personalized license plates of all the 50 states, or largest percentage of personalized plates. I don't have one, but creative ones are funny.
RedlightG20
Well I'm not asking this to offend anyone, it just seems to me that it's a stigma upon those who have personalized plates. Kinda like that thread a few days ago about which cars are driven by douchebags, haha. Many people said BMWs, which I drive, and I'm thinking about getting a personalized plate. Just want to make sure I don't double-up on my d-bagness

Just want to make sure I don't double-up on my d-bagness I haven't really thought of that as being a stigma, except maybe for the really lame ones. (Things like MY BMR. Yes, I can see it's a Beamer. Since you're driving it, I also have to assume that's it's yours. A reminder is not particularly necessary.) Also, if you like your car and like your plate what difference does it make to you what a million people you will never know or care about think of your decision?
