Kindred
Listed on the wiki site below, if you sort by average per year, it shows AH as the highest ranked NFL player in terms of yearly salary http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_sports_contracts Wow. Lets hope this guy proves worthwhile. He cant be worse than Vick though, Falcons really got screwed on that one.
Hitman#21
He will be a beast this year as long as he stays healthy were gonna be stacked on defense.
RenegadeTK
wouldnt expect any less from Snyder. he will go down as one of the biggest jokes in the history of the NFL if he doesnt get a trophy before his tenure as owner is up.
GreenRiggins
The rest of our DL is so weak/old he will just be doubled and tripled with a fullback then in the second half his production will drop. We should have never got rid of JT. jmo
Braxford
IMO, Hanyesworth will not be measured by his performance but those of the rest of the DLine around him specifically Andre Carter and Cornelius Griffin and in the future....Orakpo or Evrette Brown:fingersx:
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
and there was a thread the other day saying we had a quiet offseason. lol

Redskins:Victory_or_Death
People get forgetting that his contract is all backloaded. IIRC, for all intents and purposes it really is a 4yr, $48 million, deal. A lot of smoke and no fire if you ask me. :2cents:
Predicto
Giggle. You guys really think Haynesworth is going to see the last three years of his contract? The real contract was 4 years at 48 mil. It's a ton of cash, but not nearly the top in the NFL.
Kindred
Even if its 4yr 48 million, that is still 12 million a year which would make him the 4th highest paid player.

No, some of us 'sort of' had it worked out before he signed http://www.extremeskins.com/showpost.php?p=6156998&postcount=

Just wait untill Merriman and Ware get new deals. Haynesworth is the highest paid defensive player because he's the most recent one to sign a deal. As the other top tier guys start hitting FA their deals will dwarf Albert's. The only reason Harrison isn't getting the same kind of numbers is because of his age. I guess going into this season he's 4th as of right now. Who knows how much the #1 player will make in the draft... kind of sucks. Getting rewarded for being a good college player even though they might not translate well to NFL.
Rocky52Mc
with all the money he has spent he needs to nab more than one lombardi imo Nope. All the Redskins need to do is GET to the Superbowl or the Conf. Championship and we'd make some damn progress. Haynesworth is nowhere near the highest paid player. Contract numbers aside, his salary this year is smaller then people think. Once 2010 hits, his salary jacks up.
