wouldnt expect any less from Snyder. he will go down as one of the biggest jokes in the history of the NFL if he doesnt get a trophy before his tenure as owner is up.

with all the money he has spent he needs to nab more than one lombardi imo

Even if its 4yr 48 million, that is still 12 million a year which would make him the 4th highest paid player.

Just wait untill Merriman and Ware get new deals. Haynesworth is the highest paid defensive player because he's the most recent one to sign a deal. As the other top tier guys start hitting FA their deals will dwarf Albert's. The only reason Harrison isn't getting the same kind of numbers is because of his age.

I guess going into this season he's 4th as of right now. Who knows how much the #1 player will make in the draft... kind of sucks. Getting rewarded for being a good college player even though they might not translate well to NFL.

Nope.

All the Redskins need to do is GET to the Superbowl or the Conf. Championship and we'd make some damn progress.

Haynesworth is nowhere near the highest paid player. Contract numbers aside, his salary this year is smaller then people think. Once 2010 hits, his salary jacks up.

That's why the NFL is looking into inserting a rookie wage system.
